I can see that. I am gonna be honest though, with all that energy of people trying to make VE’s into discount HE’s was actually used for ideas if how to play on alliance a race that inherited HE lore, we would have a home slew if ideas for content that blizz could pick through instead of being nasty all the time.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, anyone that personalizes every little thing that’s said in these threads just because they want to make it or take it personally has bigger issues.

That’s actually almost funny considering they literally almost turn into Ethereals so I would have to say you’re wrong, but I suppose people arguing for HE options might see this argument (and have in the past used it) as I suppose that line of wishful thinking is seen to help your case.

Incorrect, he said it’s to give tools for you to play role play as a high elf. He didn’t say you are a high elf.

According to a dev interview Ion gave several months ago, Blood Elves were originally unintended to have blue eyes in Shadowlands, but later on that decision was reversed following team discussions. If the art department was involved, what was the reasoning that led to blue eyes being added for Void Elves and Blood Elves?

This is another place where there was a race, High Elves, in the game which hadn’t really been represented on player characters. Blood Elves were the closest, but had felt green eyes. It was an opportunity where we had a number of elven races, and we could tie it back to their roots, letting players choose where they want to align and what fantasy to play out. We did have a lot of discussion about it, ultimately we might do more in the future, but for now we’re providing the option to have a few High Elf customizations available.

You mean BE’s? Which us fine and dandy, but it wasn’t the ones requested before void elves. They also did not have a huge part of the alliance side of the story except veleria (did i spell that rogue BE right?)
