A simple void elf request

But having to play a different faction is literally a violation of my human rights!

Someone call the UN!

I hope this doesn’t mean what I think it means…

They want to fit the square peg into the round hole so badly that they will operate a mechanical sander without any knowledge of how to use it.

Thing is, even if they say that the wayfarers followed a new ritual, it won’t change the fact that the options were implemented to support RP. They can retcon lore all the time, and we all know that no matter how absurd it can be, it won’t stop them., but to say “X it’s here for the reason Y” while speaking of something that relates to gameplay, is not something they can retcon really.

It’s not even an implication. They’re there for studying, that’s it. Even if they do expand the lore of this, there’s no guarantee that the result won’t affect them the same way it did to the first batch.

And even if they were, they have no chances for them to follow the exact same method of transformation than Alleria since they don’t exactly sell “dead” Naaru at general goods stores.

No silly, that only applies to playing Horde, because clearly, the Horde has the cooties.

You mean like this? Haha. And yes, I really do have that many Warlocks. Lol.

Blizzard’s art director says it’s so you can play a High Elf, if that’s what you want to do.

RP tools are applauded by me for sure.

Even in the legion campaign there are High Elf shield bearers. High Elf Paladins are around.

I think they want to spin the narrative of the Void theme being a failed experiment so badly while also drowning out ideas and requests for Void options. But in reality it’s one that still is being explored but they never liked it to begin with so it’s all too easy to rush this idea that it’s failed or it is too niche while at the same time continuing to turn them into HE lite.

it means forsaken getting nathanos/calia human customization is silly. imagine it did tho, and then some people might just start asking for living skin tones for forsaken after that. i mean weve seen this movie, it sucks

also i dont buy into the whole horde wins everything mentality but i thought this was still funny and worth sharing

I love not only that discussing Void options gets shouted down, but it seems to result in helfers spreading bile and personal insults every time the subject comes up.

DISCUSS WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE GAME UNLESS IT’S VOID ELF VOID OPTIONS.

It was the way we all got told to make our own Void thread if we want to talk, as if this thread wasn’t for Void options that I found telling / funny. That came off the tails of the previous “well talk about void options you want to see then”. Which I also find funny to some level that HE fans think they can say jump and we’re all supposed to jump to their tune because they don’t like our arguments? Could you imagine if someone who didn’t support HE options was like “stop talking about HE options, talk about x” like sure we can suggest it or argue that it should be what is talked about but I’ve never seen anyone verbatim tell HE fans what to do the way they seem to tell others.

From being attacked by someone repeatedly the other day in one of these threads for having a differing opinion, I learned that no we aren’t supposed to have a differing opinion and if we do they have the right to attack us and tell us how wrong we are.

Also thanks, I really love her hair. :yum: :yum: :yum:

I read this as Void Elvis. Just saying.

That wasn’t what he was referring by stating “non-canonical” to. But yes thigh elf paladins wasn’t common enough to have a military branch. But wasn’t that same alliance military branch also covered dwarves, which I think where not common as paladins either at the time?

At this time, it is best to argue what is canon at this time. We can make our character stories how we wish, but if we talk about lore, then we should use what is established atm. We know VE’s are not recruiting, as such we need to consider that as such.

Incorrect, he said it’s to give tools for you to play role play as a high elf. He didn’t say you are a high elf.

Do they use holy light? If that is not observed, then we can assume they are warriors.

He is actaully on the right in this thread, they literally started name calling him and being rude at giving his opinion about not wanting VE to have HE themes. I agree with him on that and gave my opinion HE themes should be taken elsewhere aka a new race or through model toggling LF.

If you mean me thanks Brae I do think it’s a shame there seemed to be a vested interest in chasing one side out of this thread, I think Naughty though was just adding her experience with the same behavior we’ve seen in this thread from that side.

Naughty and I have never actually disagreed as far as I can remember and definitely never argued :hugs:

We haven’t and we haven’t, I just know some people that side will literally attack you for saying anything even if it’s neutral and then they’ll come at you saying that you are something or saying something you aren’t or never even said. I could legitimately quote it from other threads like I have done previously. Haha.

Yeah it was for you. Glad to see it is for the good.

I can see that. I am gonna be honest though, with all that energy of people trying to make VE’s into discount HE’s was actually used for ideas if how to play on alliance a race that inherited HE lore, we would have a home slew if ideas for content that blizz could pick through instead of being nasty all the time.

Reminder that Void Elves are still technically High Elves and them getting non-void customization neither breaks the lore nor detaches them from their void infusion.

False, ve are transformed via a ritual intended to change their very race. It makes 0 sense they keep all of their previous appearances.
