A simple void elf request

Who knows, it seems like a valid model change since model changes are being talked about.

Idk if it’s applicable to a Half Elf model in theory.

They would look the same because they are the same, you are correct.

Allegiance doesn’t change the biology of people. Void infusion does, though.

technically before bfa all humans looked the same, but blizz put in the effort to differentiate kul’tirans and normal humans. If they can do that, then surely they can do the same for HE’s or half elves.

I dunno if I can take that idea seriously lol. It is not what I had in mind either.

Before VEs and considering the Kul Tiran model now, I can kind of see it being applicable as a Half Elf model but who knows.

There’s nothing half about that model. That’s a health body.

I guess, but they would be memed as taller, better looking, pale goblins :stuck_out_tongue:

But it would also produce tears on the forums… maybe it would be worth it.

They are the same. According to Metzen at BC BlizzCon the ‘blood’ in blood elf refers to being ‘of high elven blood’.

yea blood elves ARE our high elves. not void elves

This is an incorrect statement, when someone refers to high elves, they refer to the ones remaining on the alliance, not the blood elves if the horde.

First time I heard of this, I always thought the blood part of the name is to honor their falken kin when they where attacked by arthas.

then say alliance high elves. blood elves are still our high elves

Who were all high elves.

Who shed all of their high elven blood.

Guzzle, are we really gonna debate this for the 1 millionth time on these forums? You know the end result right?

Debate what? High elves shed their blood in the defence of Quel’thalas, the remaining high elves who save the kingdom name themselves blood elves to honour their fallen, high elven kin who gave their high elven blood.

That’s just fact.

That there is 2 separate entities of thalassians, one remained as high elves, they other renamed themselves as blood elves. They even take offense being called one or the other. You know this, are you baiting?

oh lord here we go. the fanfiction that there was a group outside of kaels community in dalaran and the elves of quel’thalas under theron. and for the record only a few can be said for certain to never accept the rebranding. most likely elves like auric and alleria who werent even on azeroth

However, a few high elves did not rename themselves blood elves. High elves and blood elves are physiologically the same race, and the difference between high and blood elves is only political

Trolling i see. Or ignorant of lore. I am not really in the mood to debate this tonight, spec I ally since it us a well known fact that there is alliance friendly high elves, even represented in alliance events, that is hostile to horde. So instead of lowering myself to this, I will put you guys on ignore tonight and just pay attention to actual constructive posts. Good night you 2.

Edit: I hate my phone, and my phone hates me back.

The void theme could have been better explored. Void effect for skin and hair, void scar or tattoos, void eyes… anything would be better than 10 skin tones that look all the same, and 5 shades of gray and blue hair color. At least nightborne have unique hairstyles and tattoos, half of velf hairstyles are recycled from belves.

this is true, cept the hairstyles tend to have tentacles!

But I do agree VE needs more void centered customizations. I also think BE’s needs arcane centered customizations as well.

I honestly hate the tentacles =/

Yep. I hope void elves get some too, the new skin tones for VE are meant to represent the high elves so it makes sense. Arcane/void options for void elves and light/arcane for blood elves.
