Average hairstyle and colors that every single race, has is not an agenda my guy, you can loosen up the tinfoil.
Blizz actually did this all their own by giving them not only regular skin tones, but blue eyes, they’re giving Void Elves the theme themselves.
If you remember, HE fans wanted an entirely different rig for a HE allied race, so that people like you wouldn’t cry bloody murder about having blood elves stolen.
So lets take a moment to think about who you really should be tormenting.
I wish they hadn’t done it this way, but this way of doing it is way more of a compromise than anything else they did previously… Assuming they work on the hair, markings, and hopefully the racial effect of course.
Even without HE customization, it seems like some VE players are interested in different kinds of void. Kind of like how forsaken dont all have to have bones exposed, but they get varying levels of decay or whatever?
And it does at least tie up some loose ends with VE… Because no elf was going to become a VE the way the first set did, but now there are NPCs who arent even VE joining them.
So then do HE fans spamming the same topics equal tormenting all of us then?

Yeah your issue is opposing opinions. This isn’t an echo chamber but I do know the HE community hosts a discord for an environment more akin to what you’re looking for.
We see the Azshara / Nzoth eyes. More tentacles. Claws. A void effect in the stomach area.
I imagine these types of ideas can be done all together like the mock up represents and or pick and choose, either way a plethora of more void options is great.
My issue is antis pretending their campaign for less customization, is valid because their feelings should take place above content for what could be someone’s favorite race.
When you loose nothing and others gain something, and you still believe they should gain nothing, I don’t know how you can believe you’re in the right.
I wish it wasn’t done this way either as it’s been the most backwards way to handle the entire situation imo. Even for the “Original” Void Elves, the way that they were introduced was really silly. They were Blood Elves, not Alliance High Elves. I think it would have been fine if there were Blood Elves who defected and maybe a few notable “Void Elf” characters who had been Blood Elves, but the entire original group being Belves? Weird from the start.
If they REALLY wanted a Void Elf race from the start, they should have been Alliance Elves. My idea was that they should have been High Elves who were part of the Alliance Expedition to Draenor in Beyond the Dark Portal. And that they were with Turalyon/Alleria this whole time. Studying the Void alongside Alleria in their battle through the Cosmos. That way we would have interacted with them on Argus, they had a High Elf background & it gave us “High Elves.” if they really wanted to go the Void route.
Honestly, i think most people could get over the Void thing if from the start they had regular options. Normal hair style/color options alongside the Void ones. Along with regular & void skins. And of course you could have had some inbetween/hybrid options. I think most people would have been fine with that honestly.
Even the racial tbh. At this point i would just prefer it not cover your entire body in that eyesore. If it looked more like the Orc and Troll racials when they activate, i think that would be fine.
It is when you’re ignoring an entire group that wants normal customization as well.
The beauty of it is that both customizations are a thing that’s possible, yet you see fit to put one down cause your agenda is to transform void elves into K’thir out of spite for HE fans.

Well, the true compromise is essentially this: we arent going to make you a new race with the story and a zone and hunter pets and all the stuff an AR got (which is a shame honestly), but you can customize your character to play it how you want which was the main idea communicated with customization. Multiple clans of orcs which apparently have all the details required, forsaken get to decide on their level of decay like I mentioned… So this is pretty natural for a compromise, but they have to follow through or it’s a waste.
Probably, but then NB which are NEs would have been an issue. I truly think VE were a “race” pulled out of thin air at the last minute because even Blizz knew NB as a Horde was a big deal since no race has ever flipped before.
I agree. Would have made waaaaay more sense than what was dumped out. I dont know why they presented Alleria and then thought it was a good idea to make VE the way they did. Hence why theres been so much irritation.
I agree, but some players apparently like it so I think it should be a customization option that way everyone wins.
Yeah I’m all for more options but how does prioritizing turning velves into kthir and ethereal yet obsessively hounding after people for a hair color they want seem okay.
And even if people want to look closer to a high elf? Great, if that what makes them happy so be it.

I mostly just want nightborne to get new stuff since they’re easily the most neglected race.
I dont think anyone on the entire forum wants to stop NB from getting customization, but I also dont see much outside of “make ours like the NPC” either. Bringing up NB is just something that players seem to mention passively, like its an afterthought sadly. Then again maybe I havent been paying much attention since I dont play horde and therefore I dont play NB.
But yeah I am all for NB to get added to, or their model to get turned into the NPC version, or whatever. Just also want to discuss the other stuff as well.
Can female NE get their shovel sized hands and swollen calves looked at as well? Just as a side note.
With customizations being limited as we have seen, I think it’s important to move VEs in the direction of Void options for both VE fans and BE fans wanting distinction.
For me I think I like the current VE skin tones, but would utilize more eye colors like the Nzoth eyes or pitch black eyes.
Some basic things like Lance made that you posted earlier with Void transitioned hair colors, but still Void themed colors.
