So, you’re admitting your encouraging for the spam to continue.
They think anyone who disagrees with them has an agenda. Then they go on to post 125+ replies as though they do not have their own agenda in these threads.
Every thread is the same…agree with me or it’s not an MMO, it’s abusive, it’s harassment, it’s a violation of the social contract and a bunch of other silly stuff.
They totally have me on ignore though as they’ve said countless times about everyone else they reply to anyway

I’ll grant this; I’ve seen plenty of innocent threads shut down for the discussion that happens in them. Not necessarily fair to the OP, but after a point I get it. Can’t excise hundreds of posts to preserve a thread that could be rehashed later.
How a CM views this in terms of the rules for spam, I don’t know.
Perl isn’t doing anything that would get this shut down, I don’t think, though. The Hunter threads are much more hostile than this.

But who cares? If a thread 404’s it typically means that it’s topic is no longer producing a productive conversation. And while I never saw that thread, if it’s anything like this one, I think it’s reasonable that it was closed.
This topic is just not that worthy of further discussion, as it cannot produce anything productive.

Trust me, there ignore list has 0 users in it. I’m supposed to be on there “permanent block” list, and yet, it is the same thing over with them.
They should know what happened last time that lead them to having a month, but they still continue, showing that they learnt nothing. Can’t change who they are, all we can do is let the moderation determined the behaviour.

Spamming or Trolling
This category includes:
- Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish
- Creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forums
- Causing disturbances in forum threads, such as picking fights, making off topic posts that ruin the thread, insulting other posters
- Making non-constructive posts
- Abusing the Reported Post feature by sending false alarms or nonsensical messages
- Numbering a thread, IBTL, TLDR, or any other fad statements
If a player is found to have participated in such actions, they will:
- Be given a temporary or permanent ban from the forums, depending upon severity

Yeah but the rest of us, the forum majority, clearly do not. So much like the vote to kick feature, this thread is likely to be removed for being unproductive.

It’s pretty telling that a constructive thread about people abusing one system, vote to kick, is also abused by the flag system on the forums as well. It reinforces the point of the thread.
I post threads like this because in the past a few of my ideas have been implemented. Except they don’t seem to like my mage ideas.
This would be true if the vote kick didn’t also give the player a 30 minute debuff. If you don’t want to group with someone for whatever reason, I understand. But if you pick an arbitrary reason then the person you vote kick should not be punished.

If you’re going to accuse someone of wrongdoing, and you don’t reply, you are showing yourself as a bad actor.

I know this is hard to believe but I am a new person to this conversation. I don’t know anyone here other than a couple people who I’ve ignored because I found their style of conversation useless.

If a thread was recently shut down, and a new one was created, then it is in violation of the Code of Conduct. That is not hogwash, that is a fact.

What rule has been violated. This is my first time posting a topic about this. I did not see another thread had been shut down. You are the bad actor here.

If many people are independently having the same idea and posting similar threads that’s a trend, not spam.
