But do you have experience that they’re vile? To me, this is just us creating perceptions of folks based on some of the most fleeting interactions - many of which may not be real - on a video game forum. It’s hard for me to put a lot of stock into that, but I know that’s my own perspective.

just the post you made is very confusing. It sounded like youre saying that the social contract might not include the vote kick, but you werent sure…that sounded a bit baitey to me, which is why Im asking trying to understand if you knew it didnt mention the vote kick or genuinely not sure.

Myz is good people. This is a very heated topic and I can see how one equates an appeal to authority fallacy from folks who say ‘the system is infallible,’ though I think we’re both arguing on different topics.
One group argues that it’s not a big deal, don’t create complexity where none is needed; and the other group is saying, but your refusal to accept that this is a big deal means you may be either 1) part of the problem or 2) hinting at your inability to be your own leader, or something.
