While I’m tracking here, the difference with the lottery is we can see the winner be announced - generally, though, if they’re wise I believe the method is to have someone else claim in their name, but that’s neither here no there.
This issue is more akin - to me - to Hitchen’s razor:

Pretty sure you can claim as “John/jane doe” and refuse to have your name published when it comes to lottery winnings, the only entity that has to know is the IRS.

the Social Contract, as Im sure know, tells us how to treat other players.
Maliciously, spitefully and for no ill of their own, disrupting their game time, causing them to lose nearly an hour off their time, is hardly in line with the spirit or the wording of the contract and Im positive you know that fact.
So, and Im sure you know this, the manner in which you act out against other players isnt relevant…the social contract doesnt say ‘except for vote kicks’ last time I read it.
This is supposed to be an MMO where we play with others and treat others like we should. Its not supposed to be a spite filled hate fest where we do our best to ruin other players games…and the social contract is very clear about that

I leveled a bunch of characters at the start of the season I saw perhaps 3-4 tanks being kicked with something like “tank bad” as the reason. People click it faster than I can click no.
I agree that most of the time groups are fine. People are more often friendly than not. But a negative interaction sadly has more weight than several positive ones … it’s just how the human brain works.
Huh? I described the specific checks I want in my OP.
Ive been kicked for no reason by tich players…and Ive seen them kicked for no good reason by other players who used the fact that they were from there to kick them lol.
That was was before I really even understood what was going on in this game though.

An entire system does not need overhauled because of outlier issues. Every system has outlier issues. There is no perfect one.

I have never forgotten nor forgive Blizzard for the great pvp resilience gear nerfed. I have lost alot of my friends because it . I was put on a two weeks suspension because of the out cry i was doing in forums. Far worse than vote to kick.
I did that in a key earlier. Did a +6 with a druid that was just… ug.
Tbh I could have left but I needed the score.
