The Vigil of Jai’alator, is a Kaldorei focused Alliance Role play guild. Built from the remains of the defunded Wings of Kalimdor. Their ranks reforming to the Vigil, choosing to remain in Kalimdor still, doing what they can to keep the Kaldorei and Alliance strongholds and interests safe from the various threats that still linger.
The focus of the guild is within Kalimdor and her borders. Staying within the familiar lands the Kaldorei of known for countless years. Although if the need arises it is not too uncommon to see them assisting allies or their own goals in lands outside of Kalimdor.
The purpose of the current day Vigil is similar to its purpose in the days before the sundering. Although it has a much stronger almost paramilitary like stance within its ranks. Even more so when it comes to the Vanguard of the Vigil.
That purpose is to protect the Kaldorei people and the home they call Kalimdor. As well as to preserve Kaldorei history, teachings, artifacts and the balance of the homeland of theirs.
Kaldorei
As this order has its origin in Kaldorei history, we seek mainly to grow our numbers from those of the Kaldorei race. As long as any son or daughter of Darnassus are eager fighters, menders of nature, scholars of history or arcane, can find a home within the order. This even extends to the Kaldorei infused with death or fel.
Worgen
As similar to those who follow the path of a Moonclaw Worgen, those of the afflicted nature who seek Elune’s guidance may seek to join our order and to be welcomed with open arms.
Draenei
Allies from the Azuremyst and Bloodmyst are welcomed to join the ranks of the Vigil. Although they would have an extra few questions during the interview process to confirm their dedication, it is possible to see scholars and fighters of the Draenei under the Vigil’s Banner.
Other races may attempt to apply, but reasoning or other In Character work around may be needed to explain the characters wish to join an at times, traditional Kaldorei Order.
The Vigil is a RP guild, RP is our main focus with story writing and random RP out within the lands of Kalimdor. We aim to be a welcoming and fun group for those who wish to play characters who fight for the Kaldorei and Kalimdor. Doing what we can to keep things welcoming and warm in both OOC and IC.
We are currently working with the Kaldorei of WRA Discord and other friends and allies to form a Normal/Heroic Raiding group to casually progess in Shadowlands. As well the more dedicated PvE players will have channels to get Mythic + and other PvE Content done. Such as Mog Runs, etc.
Other content may be suggested by any member and if there is enough interest within the guilds ranks, we will happily give it a shot!
Events:
Events are least one or two a week or more pending on the event makers schedule. Mainly going around 5-6pmST server time on weekdays but starting earlier on weekends if members can make it.
Community Focus
The Vigil, heavily advises our members and friends to partake in various community events, mainly but not limited to the Kalimdor region and around the Kaldorei people. Either it be attending holiday celebrations, open events about traditions and culture, tests of strength and skill, or hosting our own. Even more so the events held by the Kaldorei of WRA Community and Kalimdor United Community.
Where are we in Shadowlands?
Kalimdor still of course! And to wherever our allies call us to be. Although pending on the lore, and possible storylines our members will be interested it is possible to see some more Shadowland themed Storylines out for the guild and our members.
