<A-RP> Magus Senate of Dalaran

Considering the Eye of Aman’thul remained in Dalaran, i’m sure the city survived. That would be a terrible hole in the plot. The Eye could have easily shielded Dalaran in an emergency, not to mention that the ruins are just the chamber but where is the Violet hold pieces.

I am also hopeful for this!! This is gonna be BIG for us Sunreavers as well.

I’m also curious about the lack of wreckage in the screenshots I’ve seen.

I am fairly certain that Dalaran survived and is now an island somewhere. It would serve a greater purpose than just a floating base in the sky all the time. Dalaran could then have actual farmlands, city walls, and be more impressive than its dinky nascar race track appearance. If they play their cards right it could even rival Silvermoon City. (now if they only just redid the city/zone so you could fly. Wake up blizzard!!!) (I would also love to see the Exodar 20 years later as an actual city not just a crashed space ship. What have the draenei been doing all this time???)

Imagine what a Dalaran Naval Fleet would look like?
Or Battlemage troops in formation?

(Actually to be honest, if the city sank but was surrounded by a giant shield holding the water back. Like Atlantis but for another underwater zone like vash’jr would be totally awesome.)

Laughs in Thalassian

Correction! It could rival pre-Scourged Silvermoon. :smiling_imp:

I recall how desperate the Sunreavers were to be let back in during Legion.

We were around then, and RP’ed through that!

Feel free to visit the maw sometime. You and the whole crew can come for some long over due revenge on Dar’Khan Drathir.

I’m sure you would enjoy a whole evening of unspent rage, torture, and anguish upon his soul. He’s one of our most esteemed long-term guests from Azeroth as he was foremost responsible for the genocide of his people.

Oh what fun you will have.

A tear was brought to my eyes as I saw the city fall…fall is not even the right word…disintegrated would be a better word…how can you even rebuild…that…I mourn the loss of the great city of magic and wish the Senate the best.

A little bit of elbow grease should do the trick.

Will summon manabuns for coin.

If you ask the horde nicely, you could get back Ambermill then pop back into the dimensional bubble. Otherwise the old crater ruins still have some spark.

Rebuild one of the old ruined buildings. Dalaran, the mages inn south of the ruins of Lordaeron.

So between how many times Dalarans been the center of demonic attacks, and the 2nd time it’s been destroyed.

Should we just leave it?

What we should do is stop porting it into warzones, at least the civilian parts. Though I suppose in this particular case, that probably wouldn’t have made much of a difference.

That did cross my mind after The Event >_>

Magni: “My visions were of fire and war!”

ports city filled with civilians into said fiery warzone

Fine work, all around.

Imagine if Dalaran finally decided to try rebuilding one more time and built an island city with a central mass teleporter that takes its troops to any location. instead of moving the whole city.

Now that magic is mostly accepted, do you need a city or just an organization with a main HQ in an alliance/horde town each.

Honestly, darlings, it was always sheer hubris to make the whole damned city float.

I remember a time when teleporting, even just a group of people was dangerous. You could get lost in the nether/leylines, or literally die from it, if not damage the leylines.

Now we just zipping whole cities around. Even back in the day Dalaran just floated to each place.

I like to think every time Dalaran did something like this, is did irreparable damage to Azeroths leylines.
