A recent lawsuit accuses the WoW team of being part of a "frat boy culture" - does that impact the story?

It might be funny …
What setting? Reality, cyberpunk?

Thanks for memory.

Poor quality recommendations out of place.
Cosmobioluchs, in the English version As*trobiologists (like it hasn’t come out yet).
Um … How does one generally recommend something?

I’m referring specifically to the Reconciliation Bill. This is a Stuff That Needs To Be Done Package and those two Senators are the roadblock. Leverage is all that the “Far Left” has left.

This whole past week has ben a discussion on what the Corporate Democrats are willing to chop away from the package but Manchin has been a package of nos and reduction and Cinema “I’m not going to tell you what I want”.

And I was referring to the infrastructure bill that already passed the Senate. It is being held up in the House by the Far left. It makes the Democrats look petty, and as if they can not govern, just because the Far Left wants throw a snit and throw their weight around.

They could pass it, and deliver a win for the country, but they want to play political games.

And it should be if that’s what’s needed to get Reconciliation passed. If the Progressives simply cave in the one bill as you advocate, then there is no incentive to pass Reconciliation, what part of that memo are you not understanding?

Now basically if you’re simply against the Reconciliation package, simply say so and we can quit this dance.

They are likely getting about 2 trillion, and still would. Manchin and Sinema are not against Reconciliation - they already voted to begin the process. If they were opposed they would have shut it down before it started, but they voted to begin the debate on reconciliation. They just want the price to come down.

You quit whatever dance you want. Or keep dancing. I’m mostly sitting.

I am for a reconciliation package. That can be worked on after the Infrastructure bill is passed.
You act like if the Infrastructure Bill is passed, there wouldn’t be a Reconciliation Bill. Manchin and Sinema already voted to start debate.

The only reason a Reconciliation Bill won’t happen is if the Far Left holds out too long, and they miss their chance, because an old Democrat in the Senate croaks, and a Republican Governor appoints a Republican in his place.

It is a grim prospect, but Senator Sanders is old, and should he simply pass away, as we all will in time - Vermont has a Republican Governor. And there goes the Democrat majority.

Time is not on the Democrats side.

It won’t have to wait for Sanders to pass away. It could happen quite conceivably next month. It just takes one Senate loss and a few seats in the House.

There won’t be any real leverage to pass Reconciliation after the Infrastructure bill is voted in.

Yeah, that’s my point. The hold is tenuous and they should do what they can, before they lose the chance to do anything.

Don’t let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

I can see it now. Women that are 12-14ish years old getting arrested for murder because they didn’t conceive before their very first menstruation period.

In more recent news, 30 creative workers at Paizo, the makers of Pathfinder, one of the successors to Dungens and Dragons have unionised.

I thought that The Clans were already a past tense story.

You are dehumanizing the unborn for your personal ideology.

Drop your ideological habit of framing people who disagree with and refute your arguments as “ist” this or “phobe” - harassment you never would’ve gotten away with for this long if you weren’t shilling left-wing ideology.

What is the definition of terrorism? I don’t think it means what you think it means.

I’m fine with women choosing to have sex, choosing to be celibate or using protection. Someone who saw them was baby factories would want them to just make babies regardless of their desires. I’m disappointed you fell back into the habit of lying about me, but I’m not the only person you’ve done this to.

I don’t have female envy any more than you have male envy.

Once again, you misrepresent me (it’s hilarious that you called it “help”)

Oh, if only there was a solution for people who have a child when they didn’t want one or can’t look after one… oh wait… there are solutions. They’re called adoption and foster care.

No. I answered your question directly:

The answer is simple: the person wanting an abortion did not want to be a parent at the time.

Or in the case of the life of the mother, what if she has 4 other children? Her death could leave them orphans. She could leave 5 orphans, or be a mother to 4. I think she should at least have the choice.

Those would entail a woman bringing the pregnancy to full term. And giving birth/c section. An abortion in the First Trimester would avoid all that. As far as I am concerned, if a woman becomes pregnant, she should have the choice in the first trimester.

Being pregnant and giving birth are ordeals that last for the better part of a year. My mom likes to remind me how all her deliveries were textbook and smooth, except mine - after I was born, she was practically bed ridden for a month. Luckily, she was a married housewife, but not every woman has a domestic partner, and we don’t have mandatory maternal/paternal leave.

For some women, carrying an unwanted pregnancy and delivering a child makes absolutely no sense. Others make the choice to go through with the pregnancy, and they have that option.

Sorry to hear; hope things ended up well for your mother.

There’s too many unanswered questions about your hypothecial scenario. What is putting this hypothecial woman’s life at risk? Under what circumstances was she impregnated? What are her chances of survival? Is there no one else in the family who can look after those children should the worst happen?

Also, how many abortions does this scenario actually apply to in-real life?

If it’s that difficult for those women (except for the small fraction who had pregnancy literally forced on them, which there’s grounds for discussion there), they should have thought of that before they had sex. People are responsible for their own choices.

Thanks. She had a bad month after giving birth to me. Practically couldn’t move out of her bed. But she got back to normal. Of course - I was too young to remember, but my older siblings and my mom remember. Especially my eldest sister, because she had to step up and be a nurse at like 10 years old.

That is one reason I can empathize with the situation. It isn’t like every woman just pops a squat, births a baby, and gets back to work the next day. If a woman becomes pregnant and knows she doesn’t want to carry a child or give birth, because of the perils, or the time it could occupy, she should have that choice.

We just plain disagree. Clearly. Luckily, the laws don’t reflect such thinking, at least in the civilized world.

Contraceptives are not 100% effective. Even monogamous couples have accidents, so it isn’t just about women having sex without thinking…

Legalized abortion helps remedy mistakes, accidents, and the unfortunate results of SA. As well as provides women with medical options for their quality of life.

Right ring religious people have no room making decisions about a women’s body, it’s 2021 and y’all are still demonizing sex. Y’all hate abortions but won’t go after divorced people…which is also against the Bible.

If they pay you to do it, then can they manage the abortion / marriage issues for you?
