Staging twinking as an act of altruism is a growing trend around here but I’m not really buying it. I can’t speak for everyone but I’m pretty content without your ‘charity.’

Blizzard matchmaking is more imba than twinks. SEGREGATE IT!

Which one is the biggest or smallest can only be viewed as speculation. We have no real data to go by. One person’s anecdotal data could speak contrary to yours. Keeping remedial playing with remedial will allow them to learn on their own without an outlier.

I do get what Erelir is saying though. I’ve seen plenty of people in favor of the playstyle that brag about 1-shotting people and claim they do it because they’re trying to teach people to be better, which anyone who wasn’t born yesterday won’t buy. That’s not to say that’s everyone but I have seen it.

And there’s a pretty simple solution to that problem.

Gear vendors for low level players who want to queue for pvp. This is desperately needed for the low brackets. When someone with 3 pieces of gray gear tries to queue, a popup could tell them their gear is inadequate and suggest that they visit a special gear vendor. If they clicked “okay” it would port them to that vendor, where they could choose baseline gear to replace those gray items and fill those empty slots, so they wouldn’t be totally helpless.

Maybe they could get gear from the ah or questing. These guys shouldn’t get any sympathy for being lazy or worse.

New players don’t have thousands of gold to spend on low level greens.

More than once I’ve turned a low level toon on a new server into a leatherworker so they’d have gear to fill those slots. That’s not something just anyone can do, and it’s totally unreasonable.

And you act as though a level 10 can just walk up to a questgiver and get a quest to make their gear good.

They can’t. By the time they do enough questing to make their gear adequate the’re level 25.

So do you want to eliminate pvp from low brackets or just make it impossible for levelers without a nest egg to queue?

They can’t even get PvP vendors for max level, what makes you think they are going to give PvP vendors to lowbies?

I don’t care what you want or your motivations. Blizz’s stance is pretty clear at this point, even PVE twinking is nerfed. Go play Classic.

The new guys dont get sympathy either on this one. Do what everyone else does and collect ore and flowers to sell on the ah for gold to spend on gear and consumables.
