A question to the complaining Alliance over horde fix

All your posts just give off an aura of extreme insecurity

You’re trying to pretend like you are somehow intellectually superior to every horde player because you decided to roll ally

Its really cringe actually

Yes. Bgs should be horde vs alliance.

They still are. It’s only same faction in extreme cases, like the one we’re currently experiencing.

First of all. You are not even listening to alliance or you would already understamd that alliance dont have a problem with the change for the horde players. A small amount probably do and i think you know why they do.

The majority of alliance players are against the change because they are tired of only horde problems being addressed. We went for 2 years in classic with a broken av battleground and asked for help. Ignored. This has been stated several times so you are just not reading alliance complaints about the issue.

Also, players of both factions are complaining over and over about thw amount of time they have to soend looking for a tank to access pve content. Waiting to the point they just stop looking. What has blizz done to address this. Nothing. So again. Why is it ok for a portion of the players to wait, but its not ok for the horde pvp players.

The last slap in the face was when they came up with a lame excuse to leave AV out of the chamge. Lol. What a joke. They dont want horde to have to deal with what alliance does in av. Players will come to the truth. But right now they ignore that all bgs are 50/50. Except av.

But to answer your question. I dont want to play alliance vs alliance in bgs. I think its stupid and during the test weekend i took the deserter buff when i was put in a ali vs ali bg. Which also shows the ques are not so bad for horde.

The problem was not enough horde queing for the bg i was. And not enough ali quing for the bg that horde were. So thw solution to the long ques there was to sign up for multiple bgs. Problem solved. But i only needed marks from that one bg. So there is where you start to look for solutions. One solution woukd be to make badges tradeable. Say turn in 3 ab tokens for 1 of amother bg. Problem solved.

Why are so many horde quing for bgs? Because they need the honor and badges to get gear. That is an answer i have seen many times from horde players. Ok, make arena skirmishes that give honor for wimning. Then make badges purchasable with honor points. Problem solved.

I could probably continue to come up with idea after idea. But thats not the problem. The problem is that alliance want thier issues fixed also and are getting fed up with horde issues being catered to over and over. That is the issue.

I don’t think you get to just write off faction xfers so easily. You don’t get to just say “no, try again” to every solution proposed. Why do you think faction xfers would not have either fixed the issue to lead to significant improvement. Do you think it’s entirely coincidence that Horde pvp and Alliance don’t? Just people who like red team like fight and blue team like dragon slaying?

There is no action that Blizzard should take to solve what is, at its core, a player-created issue.

Players should take action to solve it.

If Blizzard is, for some reason, required to solve it, then they should make player-based solutions easier with faction transfers.

I would stop thinking of this as an us vs. them problem and more of a we problem. Everybody is affected by this issue. Horde because they get bad queue times and Alliance because they get a dwindling population as people migrate over to the “better” faction, perceived or otherwise.

We all benefit from a cooperative approach to problems like these. Jumping on Horde because they have something we want, or belittling Alliance because they feel threatened by the prospect of dwindling to obscurity doesn’t help.

Whether you’re Horde or Alliance, envision how things can be better for all and be willing to give up something for the greater good. Many minds working towards a mutual goal is far more effective than waiting around for a single person to solve the problem for you.

heh :expressionless:

Thing is, they have been. Their solutions, proposed on many, many threads on this here forum, are: Nerf Horde racial abilities. Buff Alliance racial abilities. Implement faction queues, where the Alliance can log in but many Horde players cannot. Offer perks for playing Alliance. Add faction transfers (don’t ask me how that’s supposed to lead to faction parity). All their ideas are terrible and based on false premises, but one cannot accuse them of being reticent to share them.

faction imbalance in the world stays, what don’t you get?

why is faction imbalance a problem? server imbalance maybe, but faction imbalance doesn’t truly matter. Especially with this change, everyone can now do what they want without a time barrier saying you must wait.

They can’t just say you can’t make a new toon here, or you can’t start an alliance or horde here. That would be even worse, and people who come back to play with friends then can’t get onto their server.

It is my opinion, this fix implemented for BG’s, was indeed the best fix that directly does not involve, or incorporate, positive OR negative affects towards the alliance, while also only positively affecting the horde in this case.

What don’t you get?

it’s not a problem. it’s how the game works.

I mean server imbalance.
