A question to the complaining Alliance over horde fix

It’s not a buff, they gave them a skill that didn’t exist in the original so remember keep that same energy with everyone is screaming about #nochanges

I hope they give the HvH full go.
i mean it will work for the best in long run. horde will get there pvp gear faster. get board faster. then what? reroll alliance or quit till wotLK.
they don’t want to wait for anything they want it now… we all seen what now players mean. In first week the go goers got bored and unsubed till next raid pops.

yeah. i agree, but why fight it anymore really? they don’t care about the root. there was many other things they could of tried. but went straight to lets add this and go back to bed

i do remember this 30-at least 1 hour ques in my pvp days as alliance was a nelf warrior named underdawg lol
we didn’t cry about wait time. because we enjoyed the whole game

so because i personally find undead cooler than humans, completely excluding racials or any other third party arguments ,i should suffer because i find the race more aesthetically pleasing ?

I floated an idea to just give Alliance badges for completing a BG. Like, if the queues for one side get over 30 minutes, a daily opens up at the battlemaster on the otherside that offers the badges.

Either that, or just buff Alliance who enter BGs based on how few of them there are. For instance, if you do AV, there may only be five Alliance players, but they and the Alliance NPCs do more damage, have more health, ect.

I agree Horde needs a solution. I’ve been going around preaching a solution that mainly focuses on making sure the world is still interesting and cool (without silly masks or a faction fighting itself)

Let’s be constructive. Let’s fix queue times and faction balance without turning the classic world into a speedily gratifying lobby game like everything else out there.

This is obviously an ambitious solution whereas the strengths of horde v horde are how robust and obviously simple to implement it is, so I’m open to new ideas and suggestions. Anyways I’ll quote my proposed solution below:

Can we fix Horde BG Queues without ruining roleplaying and immersion?

I hate the idea that Horde can get “honor” through playing with themselves; honor should come from putting your life and resources at risk and taking the fight to the enemy! Does no one care about feeling immersed or telling stories to themselves as they play the game?

I was thinking that players should be able to queue in a merc mode within a goblin city where they get a currency that could be spent in goblin cities for pvp gear there. Except instead of your race being changed temporarily ala retail, you keep your race the whole time (an orc could fight for the silversong sentinels in wsg) but would be flagged with a debuff as a “traitor” for some time after the BG and both factions could target and kill that player in the open world for honor.

This would also help with faction imbalance on pvp servers since many horde would temporarily be dispossessed from their majority in open world pvp with the “traitor” debuff if they want a faster queue.

I also think it would be cool because it would draw world pvp to the old world and the neutral cities where mercs would queue, would have exciting fights between traitors, horde, alliance, and goblin bruisers, and would have that classic feel since there would be world pvp without flying mounts.

Really? Because after the human racial was changed the populations went evermore alliance favored. It in fact got so biased to the point that Blizzard intorduced Merc mode to address alliance que times.

The whole faction thing is bogus. Players went en masse to horde for op racials, even though the bonuses really are not that much better. Super short sighted and dumb choice. Instead of living with that dumb choice or offering people a free way out (free swaps or boosts to alliance) Blizzard decides to make dumb fixes to dumb decisions and destroy any wpvp left and the alliance populations. This fix is bad for horde and alliance in the long run.

The game has always been advertised as a MMORPG. I’ve never seen it advertised as a FPS, MOBA, or any other type of pvp game.
