A problem with reporting

I’m not sure this belongs here, but I thought it needed to be raised.

I believe in reporting ingame issues of various sorts, including things like botting, inappropriate communications etc. The problem is not with the reporting as such, but with how Blizzard responds to it. Specifically the little mails it sends you to tell you they got your report etc.

Thing is, I logged onto SoD the other day to find the icon up top telling me of 71 responses to reports. And I had to manually click through every single one to delete it.

Could we please get an option to just delete the entire bunch at one go rather than having to spend a tedious amount of time and mouse work opening and clicking these emails one at a time. While I appreciate them responding, how about not making it a tedious exercise and also making it less likely I’ll continue to report so these just add up again.

I would certainly class this as feedback, which would be better suited in General Discussion for this particular kind.

I’m not sure if the thank yous have a corresponding Support site structure, but you could arguably also use the Support Site Feedback forum.

I would use the ingame suggestion feature no feedback get collected avoid the forums.

I know this doesn’t actually fix the issue, but an addon like Postal makes it a lot easier to deal with.

I’ve reported a few bots myself, but it’s only resulted in me getting 3 mails about it.
