and that is a problem how? I don’t understand why people think both systems can’t coexist - blizzard has intended them both to.

Dragon riding has made the bots go bye bye so no to reg flying. Dragon riding is way faster. If you want to just afk to where you want to go take a flight path

the biggest whiners in the game are people who love dragonriding the normal people just ask for normal flight cause they have issues with dragonriding not get rid of dragonriding but i sure see alot haters saying get rid of regular flying though. i guess the normal people should of asked for dragonriding to be taken out as well as getting normal flying back. it’s time blizz bring normal flying back.

no it didn’t - the other mechanics may have. Bots were always able to ‘fly’ without flying being in the game.

Dragon riding cuts the bots almost completely out.

The problem is that there are players who have physical limitations that prevent them from dragonriding. They aren’t a majority by any stretch, but for those players, not having legacy flying in an expansion that requires flying to complete the story, they cannot even play the game without some alternate (or always being ferried by someone else to their destination). Bots are annoying, but their presence doesn’t prevent anyone from playing the game like how the absence of an alternative does for some who cannot DR.
There’s nothing special about DR that will prevent bots. Yes, there is more work to be done for bot writers so bots aren’t as prevalent today. But this is only temporary. Give it a few months and we’ll be back to prevalent bots yet those who cannot DR will still be unable to play the game unless some DR alternative is enabled.

Have to say I much prefer the way flying works in Dragonflight, and hope they never go back. Going back to other xpac content and not being able to ride my dragon… feels sad by comparison.

Why is it every time this topic comes up, people who want legacy flying are fine with Dragonriding, but pro-Dragonriding players insist that legacy flying must be removed. Can both not exist, or are they obsessed with making everyone play their way or it’s wrong.

Hahaha! Believe it or not, it’s true! I have a mantra that says “If you don’t like the game, DON’T PLAY IT!” Which why I’m not complaining here, I’m begging. It’s a little different.

So, many players have issues with dragon riding because its too fast? Thats my favorite part of this expansion so far.
I guess a solution for those players should be a dragon riding talent that makes the mount slower but with faster vigor regeneration if that works.

How are they able to play any class / spec in the game then? There is no class or spec with less abilities than dragonriding.
I suspect it will eventually be added to the game but not for a while.
Strongly agree, it seems as if the ones complaining here have really had a hard time seeing others enjoy themselves. It’s a shame some people are brought up the way they are. We should be taking care of eachother.

I would in a heartbeat. Not everything needs to be go go go go. Dragon riding makes me dizzy to the point of becoming nauseous. 310 is fast enough for me. Thank you very much.

I am with you on this. I got called a liar in another thread earlier today. When I stated my issues. They asked if I drove on the highway. No, I do not I surrendered my license to the state of Texas in 2015 when my vision began failing.
I am not one to put someone in danger because I am behind the wheel of a vehicle. Dragon riding doesn’t give me migraines but it does make me very dizzy to the point of being nauseated. I think I will pass on that.
Leave in dragon riding and add it to the older zones for those who enjoy it. But allow those of us who cannot have regular flight at 310 speed. I will eventually get to where I need to be with that.
