The expansion is now designed with flying in mind as before it wasnt
But itâs not designed for use with the 10e483 mounts youâve collected over the yearsâŚ

Ummmm 16+ yrs in this game and I have never flown off map into the ocean and died while using alt-tab as I fly alongâŚ

no one is forcing you to choose tbc flying in dfl if itâs implemented

Still, not really, since you cannot use the mounts youâve spent the last several years farming.
The devs just cannot give in on this and so far, they have spent resources, time and money, designing around player flight:
portals
gliders
rental mounts
use your own mounts at flight paths
dragons
⌠instead of just letting you use your own flying mounts.
