I have carpal tunnel problems and every 4 years I am changing the prescription of my glasses and I don’t have any problems with Dragonriding.
I also started playing in Vanilla.
I think it’s more lack of will than anything else.

You disbelief is irrelevant. It’s the speed that bothers my eyes - not the flashes and colors (that’s another issue with some peoples vision). As for the main issue that is with my hand and the arthritis.
I sincerely hope when you age you don’t get arthritis - it’s not fun.

I mean the select few people who have issues with the speed, is a small price to pay to not have normal flying.
Mount = Mount, aim up, get high, aim, auto run, afk…
Dragonriding = Mount, Aim up, Get high, Aim slightly down at target, max speed, afk

Exactly lol, and i do this without the max speed part and its fine.
I dont use the speed ability, its not very fast if you coast at a level horizontal angle.
Also, look up autoimmune diet, it vastly improved my arthritis!
Please regular flight has been in the game since TBC and it hasn’t hurt the market. Far as bots go maybe they should do more to ban bots instead of changing core gameplay.

honestly wow was getting boring before dragonriding… atleast now we can fly around having fun. Before it was just flying upsidown on a mount… boringgggggg

Um I play the market, and I am a pure solo gather. If you never seen a murder of druids flying toward a herb, than you need to get out in the world more.
The point is, swimming in the air is op that is why players want it. Players are pushing disability, to add more weight behind wanting the op system.

Is there something about this community that makes half of it incapable of understanding that two things can coexist? It doesn’t have to be either/or between the two. The enabling of legacy flight won’t somehow hurt your ability to continue dragonriding, but it would be a major boon for the people who want or need it. Why do you care if a stranger wants to use what you believe is an inferior mode of transportation?
I personally would like both because they’re useful for performing different tasks. DR is great for going from point A to point B quickly (as long as you’re on a flat plane or there’s a downward gradient…), but it’s a hot mess for trying to get to anything above you or to do anything that requires short hops or precision, which is where legacy flight comes in.

Love Dragon flying. Great system. Let’s keep it. I think they finally found a system that works to replace and better engagement for flying.

I see your point, and I believe normal flying will eventually be available, but my hope is they let us use Dragon Flight style throughout the game. I very much prefer it, far more realistic and challenging, not just an air taxi. Also I think it would drive the farm bots crazy.

Ummm bc its false and he can not press the 1 ability, i dont use that ability at all, and the flight speed isnt very fast if you go horizontally.
i would prefer no flying to regular flying.
regular flying goes a long way to trivialize all non instanced content.

In the end it doesnt matter. Crafting mats will soon bottom out once professions become maxed and pointless. People will then regress back to sitting in org waiting on que’s and expecting others to summon them to instances. Imagine if blizz just made the old flying faster
