A plea to Blizzard for regular flying in Dragonflight

This is one of the biggest reasons the game is doing so badly too, Ion needs to be put back to being a raid Dev. He has failed time and again yet gets to keep his job, if I did that where I worked I would have been shown the door quickly.

Please post a source, otherwise I will just say you are trolling. I bet you can’t post a source and will call me a troll for calling you on your claim.

Nothing wrong with having both. The game survived just fine in prior expansions with regular flying; Dragonflight will certainly survive with both.

Ion needs to lose his job . Micro stuff will end his job but most likely end wow as we know it

Yes, please allow normal flight in Dragon Isles, and Dragonriding in all the other maps.

I’m beginning to think that regardless of what was said early on we will never see regular flying in Dragonflight. Doesn’t matter I guess because it’s getting to the point where you hardly need to log in anyway. All of you who wanted to enjoy your mount collections can hop around on the ground or go back to old content. Those of us who have physical limitations need to get it figured out that the majority of players and devs don’t care. Am I quitting? No. Am I enjoying things? Well the fishing is okay

Hey,like the name

As much as I do like Dragonriding, at this point I’d like regular flying too so I can use that felstorm dragon mount (I actually like this one) without having to leave the Dragonflight zones.

I simply do not care for dragon riding. I find myself using flight paths a lot because by this point i want the convenience instead of speed.

I use if it its going to be a straight shot - but every time im out gathering on my druid my thought is “i miss normal flying”

Hurt the market? Have you even played World of Warcraft before? The market is already trashed! There are Dragonflight consumables and trade goods that sell on the auction house for less than their vendor price and most crafted gear on the auction house sells for less than the cost of mats.

The market can’t crash anymore than it already has.

Honestly I don’t care.

But I don’t see why anyone would prefer regular flight.

When Dragonflight first launched I was one of the people who just didn’t enjoy it. There were some people who can’t use it due to age, neurological problems, etc but I just didn’t like it. I’m still not sold on it 100% but whatever.

There was no specific reason. I just didn’t find dragonriding enjoyable so when I was leveling my first two characters I avoided using it. But the map isn’t designed to be explored on the ground and it is a miserable experience that makes you have to either use dragonriding or just not do anything in the open world.

it is easier to explore when you can hover instead of zipping by at 600% speed, having the option to use both would be nice.

I agree with him about the flying as I earned the right to fly anywhere in the game and I rarely if ever go to dragonflight or go other places that do not allow me to fly. Just a personal preface on my part and I am a senior male of 65 and cannot run or use a horse or whatever in those places.

druid feels bad without flight.

Also, they unironically sold a huge Dragon mount in the Dragonflight collectors edition that does not fly in the dragon isles. It can’t do dragonflying and nothing can do regular flying, and they took money from us for this, knowing when they put it up for preorder we wouldn’t be able to use it. Kinda crappy IMO.

There is literally no market for mats and there are plenty of bots farming herbs and minerals using dragon riding.

I hope they as in Blizzard Does not release regular flying. imagine flying now at that slow pace after 850 percent OMG someone shoot me from teh skies lol

Once I got the hang of it, it became so much fun.
Add in WM and the chance to get knocked off, or knock someone off is a blast!
