No regular flying. This is the first time we’ve had a functioning economy in the game in forever because bots struggle to mine and herb.

Bots are getting better at it as we speak.
You can never stop the bots as long as there is profit to be made.

I have seen some here say that bots are teleporting node to node, which would seem absolutely easier to detect by Blizzard as obvious botting activity and therefore more easily banned. Still an improvement.
they have also apparently developed rudimentary bots that can dragonfly as well. at least according to what i’ve heard. stopping bots is a very poor reason for removing flying. they aren’t going to go away because you got rid of flying.

Might be, I’ve yet to see any which means it’s a vast improvement over standard flying.

Totally agree, dragon riding is not as great as its made out to be…I mean its just flying. Well…more like flying drunk. Anyway its more annoying than fun. Bring back regular flying and stop taking it away with every expansion , I mean sheesh!

I’m at that point also. I also don’t play that much anymore because of dragon riding. My play time this week consisted of setting up the UI of alts I’ll never level because I just can’t stand dragon riding.
I play on the weekends with my wife and I’m usually so burt out from the major headaches I get I barely play thru the week even though I’m retired and all the time in the world to play. But at least I’m getting my moneys worth out of netflix.

i would love to see dragon riding and regular flying in all zones.that way we would have our choice. dragon riding is great , and would be nice to have in all the older zones along with normal flying.

They should fuse both systems together. Have a talent or an ability that lets you fly or hover like regular flying for a duration.
And they should add dragon riding mechanics to every flying mount.

We all know it would happen. People would whine about losing out on nodes and mobs. They would demand regular flight speed buffed or DR nerfed.
Yes, to adding dragon riding mechanics to every flying mount, and no to fusing the two systems together.
Dragon riding mechanics only make sense for those flying mounts that have physical wings that generate lift via aerodynamics.
Mounts that use other methods to generate lift such as most of the Legion Order hall mounts, Red Flying Cloud, Elemental Mounts, Rockets, Headless Horseman’s mount, etc just do not make sense. Basically, what is converting the momentum built up while diving into lift if you do not have wings?
