I got it day one on an off alt, it never showed up as a mail notification though. Just was in the mailbox on the first alt I logged in without notification.
Since implementing this reward on Friday, it has become clear that some players aren’t receiving it after earning an additional 5,000 Plunder. We’ve had our best code-pirates working on fixing the fix. We don’t yet have an ETA, but progress is being made thanks to player reports that we can look at.

Could it just go on the plunderstore as a 1 time purchase for 5k plunder, similar to the traders tenders? Would help with visibility in game that it exists, plus give a more explicit trigger for receiving the reward.

This would be a great fix, if they can implement that people who have already received it can’t purchase it.
Is “additional” new or a clarification? The original requirement did not state it this way.

I’ll be surprised if they don’t make an announcement when it’s fixed.
I don’t know if I got this or not. Is there a way to check?
People are logging on to every single character to check for mail, but I think until Blizzard says they’ve fixed it that’s not a great idea.
