My guess is they will take the same route as the “Bleak Sand” quest, Just post a “We have received several reports of this issue and are investigating it. Currently, we do not have a workaround or resolution that can be provided.”
Then in 6 days plunderstorm event will end.

Then we keep replying constantly and with fervor for 11 more days. Let them see that we’re not letting them forget that some (many?) of us still don’t have this reward, which in 7 more days will officially be outdated (though still good to pass to an alt, so yes we want it!).

Just keep opening tickets and don’t mark them as resolved/re-open them until they fix it. Apparently they think they can just wave this away with the new season. The problem is NOT resolved. It is a problem, we have issues, this is the correct response that will get attention.

da’kesh is there. he has 2 items for sale. both require keg-leg coins that i never received.

I have to wonder if any of initial 1900 employees that were fired were more essential than blizzard or microsoft thought.

in the past i have been threatened with a game ban by support for asking too many questions and not accepting the non-answers i was receiving.

be careful

That is some award winning support you got there.

Honestly I’d be upset, but I would stop asking if they just said “Yeah, we’re not going to fix that, the end of the season is here. We don’t want to risk even one person getting an extra item to help out a large number of others that didn’t get what they earned. Sorry, tough luck.”.

At least it could effectively end hope of ever being compensated.

be careful with this, They sent me a warning of being banned for this…

"Account Action: Warning
Offense: Violation of Customer Support Interaction Policy

The account listed above has continued to ticket in appealing our decision on a matter. At this time, we must ask you to adhere to the outcome we have provided. Repeated contacts about this situation can result in severe penalties for this account.

We understand that accidents and mistakes can result in gameplay behavior that isn’t perceived as ideal. Customer Service as a whole, from individual customer support agents to global directors, do everything in our power to deliver an ideal experience. However, as with every job, there are policies and procedures in place to ensure we’re upholding the intended game design. Many of us are avid players of our products as well, and we understand why you’re asking for a different outcome.

We would like to make it clear that the resolutions you’ve received will be the only one we can offer as a business. While we understand, and welcome, additional contacts that further clarify a situation, there comes a point where the outcome we’re providing is the correct one for us as a game studio. At this point in time, we’d like to make it clear that we will not be able to offer a different solution.

Continuing to submit tickets appealing this decision may result in penalties being applied to your account, up to and including account termination."

They do not care for us as players. and there entire CS staff is useless with copy and paste answers so that they do not have to do any work. Even though there are only 2 options when they close a ticket…I still have this issue or Resolved…If you refuse to click resolved they threaten you even though they haven’t resolved anything. Its like the drive thru pull forward. the are just closing tickets for metrics and don’t care about solving any issues.

as the last update on 02/12, is seems like the thread timer should have been reset.

I am sure it’s just an over-sight

What are the odds we’ll get an update on Feb 25th, something along the lines of, “Well, gosh everyone, shucks, now it’s too late to do anything, oh well.

I guess it depends on what exactly the fix was supposed to be in the first place. Even when he said they were adding a vendor he never elaborated what you would use to the purchase the chest. Even when asked by people in this thread.

Which makes me think they weren’t communicating the issue properly and really never had a solution for it to begin with.

Just adding to the thread that I also did not receive Keg Leg’s Spoils. I know it’s only one piece of heroic gear, but I’ve already wasted so much time trying to figure out what’s going on and would like to add my voice to the rabble.

I’m going to guess that this still isn’t as resolved as everyone hoped, and I see I’m not alone in still not getting this reward. I do see the vendor at least but never received any loot tokens that I could turn in for the reward.

Yeah, not sure what your situation was but that sounds about right for Blizzard lately. I’m not sure what their threshold is for this sort of thing. But I’d definitely open one ticket for it if you haven’t gotten the plunder yet. They really do need to know how widespread it is and that yes, we do care. And if you get a survey afterwards, be sure to reflect Blizzard’s apparent desire to bury this bug (don’t trash the rep, they are just giving you the answers they are told to give).

Would be nice if we saw a post on MMO-champion or wowhead advertising them dropping the ball on this one, that’s the sort of thing that tends to get their attention. But I’m sure they are wary of losing access for interviews and such. A headline “Blizzard fails to fix bug (again) or compensate those affected” would get their attention.

If they are now in the business of telling people to get lost for their own screw up, then punishing people that complain that would tend to have a pretty long term negative impact on their business. Having a special event, then messing up the rewards for participating is worse than not having it at all as far as generating excitement is concerned - it makes people wary of investing their time on such things in the future.

I would advise against doing this as it could result in your account being suspended as it goes against the Customer Support Interaction Policy.

Quote from Article:

Submitting Multiple Tickets or Spamming

Submitting multiple tickets, or spamming, on an issue which has previously been addressed by customer support is unproductive. Such behavior may include submitting tickets with gibberish, copy and paste from previous tickets, repeated appeals, and making demands for resolutions which are out of our scope of support.

This above post is what I was talking about…they give themselves an out to not answer you. Then threaten you when you refuse to mark resolved even when the issue is still ongoing…ie “I still have this issue.”

They even admit that they believe not fixing it is the best action for them as a game studio.

If this isn’t telling I don’t know what is. They obviously don’t care for the player base and customer service in this company might as well be let go since they do nothing. Invest in more developers so this doesn’t happen. Not employees that are annoyed for having to do their jobs by talking to us.
