I run it constantly. harder than normal but not by much and isn’t all sweaty like mystics at 0…when that is just heroics with some spice. They treat it like they are in the world cup or something.
To be fair, their feelings get hurt if they’re not #1 for ALL damage in ALL situations.
Surely, we can give up doing dailies/events so they can feel good staring at the damage meter, right?

And I rarely do dungeons - I just did a lot for the prepatch and 90% of the dungeons tanks were doing the same thing - huge pulls and totally ignoring the rest of the group was repeatedly dying. A DH comment really stands out - 2 dps died repeatedly during a dungeon - this guy making huge pulls and comments ’ I almost take no damage’ - well that is nice blizzard made tanks invincible, they need to work on the tool kit for dps then.

Of course, and if the tank doesn’t adjust his pulls after wiping it’s not only incompetent but, as you’ve eloquently put, stupidity.
The suggestion that because of these limited occurrences we nerf tank damage and make them a pure threat maintenance role is just asking for deterioration of the tank shortage.
