look it up
the loading wheel icon name you will thank me lol
I don’t see a lot of loading wheels, so Idk what you’re talking about.
Hate it when I’m just trying to watch some videos in bed and Throbbers keep popping up.
I didn’t think twelve-year-olds were allowed to post on the forums.
It definitely feels like that, or he’s even younger, based on the way he typed up this thread. I can hear the muffled, childish giggling through his computer screen. He’s like and elementary school kid when they learn a naughty word; “Hehe, poop. Hehe, pee!”
i am 36 btw and this is way to funny
i mean if your on windows this isnt something that happens ever or ever has.
You two must be fun at parties.
Can someone explain to me what this thread is about?
like you never did anything like this when you were a kid
The spinning circle you get when things are loading is called a throbber.
Its not a wow thing, its just a computer thing.
Op is just being childish
I never needed to assign a name to loading wheels. I only ever see them when Fandango struggles to buffer.
Oh… that’s why I was confused. Thanks. lol
I wouldn’t have ever thought it needed a dedicated name. It’s just the loading icon. OP’s childish giggles aside it is still a good bit of trivia.
I’m a blast at parties. Ones for adults.
I thought it was a muster point for a Demon Hunter lynching, but I am thinking I polished my pitchfork for nothing.
what but he’s 36!?!??
Thanks. Always love a good throbber.
back when all disk drives where mechanical one would often hear the drives spin up and make a weird “grind” type noise so we called that loading/waiting/busy animation the “grinder”
Now days all the drives in the PCs at my house are NVME or SSD.
Still call it the grinder around here tho. Cuz windows is “grinding on something” and may be “grinding to a halt” literally.
I don’t get it. Throbber sounds like it’d be a really bad headache or something
