Dear Blizzard,
Please consider updating the battleground trinket that allows you to teleport back to your base. It should scale like heirloom gear, just enough so that a user is not hurting themselves by equipping it.

@Kealis - I’d love this to happen, or at least if they want to keep it as a legacy item, add in the Runes for Marks of Honor. The runes were items in your bag that you clicked and it did the same thing as the trinket, without taking your trinket slot.
It’s isnt … but if one team has taken GY to prevent dead enemy players from spawning next to the base or has the enemy players held at a choke point , it hardly seems fair then that an item is available which invalidates all that work …
At the low speed of travel below 40… just running from one end of the map to the other will take ages
The item is already available. Is it game breaking now? The OP is asking for the trinket to be updated, not added. I agree it needs updated.
The trinket has always been there and it is available to both factions making it a solid option to return to the keep to defend the General.
I doubt anyone would want to keep it equipped, and it has a 30 second CD to use if you try and equip it just to teleport. (And you’d be possibly locked in combat with it after porting) It’d be pretty game changing if it was something people had on at all times.
Considering it’s a Legacy item that one gets through grinding AV, all we’re asking is for it to be undated along with the BGs.
It would be great if they just added an NPC who’ll let you trade it in for a Tabard that does the same.
But making it an Heirloom item would be better.
It was something that you upgraded via a questline and grinding that breaks at some point due to the cuts to the BG making it a queueable faster BG. I don’t believe Rank 6 is obtainable anymore. Should they keep in the progression upgrades and fix or modify them?
Also, AV used to be a 48-hour affair, and I’m guessing this trinket is one of the reasons why. Matches would go on much longer, not 48 hours, but not just an hour either.
I’d say restore the Rank 6 quest node and make the Rank 6 version Heirloom.
Yeah it’s already being used to get players on defense. Updating it won’t change that.
Isn’t it only available from the guy by the AV instance entrance in the Eastern Kingdoms? I’m guessing 99% of people don’t even know it exists.
Only way to get it once you do the quest inside AV that takes you well away from objectives. Very useful once you have it. More are catching on that it exists I think but I don’t think many have it.
I keep my bag open so I can quickly re-equip my normal trinket. Works fine if I’m not immediately put into combat.
Putting both to your hotbar saves you the effort of keeping your bags open
