Word has spread a bit. People who enjoyed the jihui enjoyed the teahouse afterward.

Tomorrow night is the big night for this month. Teahouse opens 8-ish. Depending on when Kunbo gets up from his nap. I have a feeling the Wanderer’s Festival side trip is going to be extra fun as well.

Elixir of Tongues is available in the Underbelly of New Dal. Jump down the well & you are right by the vendor. So for those who want to talk cross-faction there’s an alternative to the moribund Cross-RP.

A limited number will be available at the teahouse, but please bring your own if possible.

It would be great to see a whole set of community-wide Pandaren holidays evolve. This is a worthy start.

It won’t always fall exactly on the 14th, but as long as the Quilen & Cloud Teahouse exists whatever night is closest will honor Chi-Ji. Starting tomorrow night.

So in honor of both Chi-Ji & Winter Veil let’s see a lot of red at the tea house.

Cross-RP has been updated !!!
It requires the use of the elixir. It adds the ability to read custom emotes across factions, whisper, and grab trp profiles. It will give you heads up when the elixir is close to expiring.

The Quilen & Cloud community will be active for those who choose to use the updated Cross-RP. You’ve now got three levels of IC communication possible (OOC solution):

  • You know the language well enough to pick up subtle cues (Elixir + Cross-RP)
  • You’ve got more than a tourist’s vocabulary (Elixir)
  • You need someone to translate for you (ask somebody at a higher level of comprehension to help)

The suggested game plan for tonight:

  • Wear red in honor of Chi-Ji & Winter Veil.
  • Brings those elixirs (Tongues & Inky Black) to use & to share.
  • Bring a friend. Better yet - bring a friend from the other side of the fence.

Ooh! You guys are hosting tonight? I’ve been wanting to try and hop into some more cross faction RP. I had a neutral character set up from a while ago that I finally got around to making.

Great to hear that. It’s pretty much an IC socializing event. You might think of it as a pop-up hub. Some are hanging out with IC friends. Personal storylines move forward. People find potential guilds or make connections for later sessions.

Not sure how many will be there, as it’s kind of late for a lot of us (we have a lot of east coast members), but I’ll definitely be able to at least make an appearance! I’m super excited!
