[A/H-RP] Harbingers of Argus <First Light>

Attention, all free peoples of Azeroth:

The Harbingers of Argus are seeking more members to assist us in our mission to support First Light in its fight against the evils that plague the world. Free of shackles or commitments to any faction other than ourselves, we seek to destroy all threats that would endanger the innocent. While we are a draenei-focused group, and carry with us the proud culture of our people, we seek any who would accept such to help us in the fight or support of all.

The Harbingers are a unspecialized unit, operating by spreading out and gathering experience in all fields. This would allow us to be not only self-sufficient but allows us to further support our allies in areas where they need expertise or lack a skill that we have.

Our ranks are made up primarily of four groups:

Ekto’atos - The Heavy Infantry and Cavalry of our group: heavy front line fighters forming shield walls and acting as shock troops as well as heavy support.

Rangari - Primarily a scouting/skirmishing and light infantry force: our eyes, ears and flankers that fight both close in as well as at range.

Paraxen’eros - Our caster support: both magical artillery as well as support units for all our chapters. They are also the keepers of our knowledge.

Keleosi - Our healers. The hope and protectors of our people.

While we have made four ranks that give a generalization of jobs we are also seeking any other skills that are not listed here. Engineers (artificers) and blacksmiths are examples of skills that are highly sought after, but all are welcome and will further strengthen us in our mission.

What is a Chapter: The Harbingers are one of First Light’s roleplay chapters. Each Chapter is an entity with its own theme and rank structure, yet operates within the overall tapestry of our guild’s overarching theme.

What to expect: Chapters are how First Light offers roleplay. Each chapter hosts its own events, some of which are chapter-only and some open to all guild roleplayers. The guild itself also holds guild-wide story arcs open to all.

What else do we offer: First Light offers something for everyone! In addition to roleplay, we offer raiding (each faction has a Mythic team, and offers Normal runs once a week to all members), lots of friendly people, occasional mythic dungeon runs and battlegrounds, and lots of just plain fun.

Caveats: Like just about anything else in life, there’s a “but”. Roleplayers can’t play void/shadow characters (warlocks, void elves, etc.) without a redemption arc planned that will lift the void/shadow from the character by its end. However, it’s just fine if the in-game class is one of these as long as that’s out of character only and not played as such. (Roleplay addons can display any class you like!)

To Apply: Contact myself and Buran to apply.

I’m the Harbingers’ other Raketar. Raun and I work together, side by side, to lead the Harbingers, and we’re always glad to welcome new members.

I’m always available via in-game mail, whisper, or this thread!

This group is full of nerds.

A lovely group of nerds. <3

In fact, we’re so nerdy we shine with nerdiness.

We recruited our first gnome last night! We’ll be retrofitting our pre-Legion Eredar ship, Beauty, to accomodate a wider range of crew stature.

Now that the holidays are over, we’re looking forward to getting into the swing of things again. A mini-party is in the works for the Harbingers, as are some events tying into the guild’s overall plot.

I’m planning on spending some time in Stormwind this weekend, showing the flag and doing some recruiting. I’ll be able to do IC and OOC interviews on the spot, though of course we still ask prospective members to apply on our website.

I’m not sure of date and time just yet, but chances are it will be in the evening, and likely in or near Cathedral Square or the Mage Quarter.

Just had a fun time in Stormwind’s Cathedral Square for some recruiting. Any of us are approachable at any time, however, if you’re interested in joining us!

This weekend, our very own Zaahak will be entering a horse in the Hillsbrad Charity Derby. Come on by to cheer the racers on and have a good time!

Zaahak didn’t win the derby on Saturday, but she and I had a wonderful time watching the races. Being a tall draenei certainly helps when in large crowds.

Can confirm, on both points!

Shout out to Remnant of Lordaeron for hosting an awesome event and the sizable crowd for making things interesting. A little fun is good for the soul, allows one to find their center for the long road ahead.

The servants of the Void are still out there… waiting for their moment to strike. And the Harbingers will be there to meet them in battle.
