A guild member threatened suicide but only got a screen shot of part of it

Not sure what to do, I put in a game ticket under harassment which will take 11 plus hours for blizzard to look at it, They left the guild and deleted their character. I didn’t even get to see what realm they were on just their user name and the time it was said. I have the screen shot of it bookmarked. how do I get ahold of blizzard faster for them to check on the user?

Ticket think a real life threat ticket would be better you could also try a unable to move ticket think that one u can give details as well.

I got a ticket put it but it will take 12 hours for them to look at it, and if it was a real threat then by then it would be too late.

Theres reaply not much else u can do but harrassment wouldnt work real life threat is more serious.

Did you put it under the Real Life Threat category?

He rejoined the guild on another character and thought it was hilarious then made jokes about it and bragging about it in general chat. it was all games to him.

As deplorable as that type of behaviour is, I am glad to hear that they were not serious in pursuing their previously stated intentions.

We can only hope they will realize that is not appropriate behaviour and cease doing it in the future.

I agree and I think players who do this as a joke should be banned. as it causes drama, distress and is triggering. I had lost a few people who ended their lives by suicide and no way do I find it funny and it has triggered me all night to the point I don’t even think I want to play the game anymore and might not even pay for this months sub.

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully you can find some peace in doing other activities that you enjoy.

There’s also the possibIlity that the person is truly in trouble but may suffer from severe bipolar disorder or some other malady, that has them acting completely chaotic then pretending it was all a big joke. Certainly some people should be watched for a while just so they don’t hurt themselves or anyone else even by accident

Certainly possible. I want to say thank you to Awnar for showing concern for your fellow player like this. It’s always better to be safe and report.

Thank you to Darth and Kyzera for providing the appropriate channel to file such a report. Our teams take these very seriously, and while we’re never going to be able to share the outcome of our investigation we do truly appreciate when the community looks out for one another like this. Be excellent to each other!

If it was all a gag then it’ll stop being funny really quickly when the police show up at his house and then penalize him for falsely claiming an emergency situation.

If it’s real and he’s just trying to brush it off, you might save his life or at least show him that people really do care.

Win-win for you.
