Well, we’ll need to specify a bit here.
Have you received an email saying that your account has been silenced? It has to actively be done by a GM, usually for first time chat violations.
You may have instead been hit by a squelch, which is an automatic response to a sharp influx of reports. This is done as an anti-bot measure and will fade on it’s own in around 24 hours.
It was a silence and removed 10mins later. It was clearly done in error.
I just want to see the appeal link updated to stop it sending people to the EU site.
They can’t action reports and either have to open a new ticket or add a extra days wait time.
For clarification, not a GM and it wasn’t exactly an accident. You should have received a response to your appeal with the explanation.
If the penalty was overturned, then it would have removed any negative mark.
The link for putting in a Forum Appeal is region agnostic. When you click it, the page checks your location/preferences and directs you accordingly. So where you do is usually based on your location and/or ISP - especially if you use a VPN.
You might try clearing your browser’s cookies/cache. If the issue persists, especially if you aren’t using a VPN you should be able to report the bug here.
