You can’t destroy a fresh server. A person can work the new market, farm gold and materials sure, but so can everyone else at relatively the same rate.
No one has a bank full of all mats and 30,000 gold.

You simply don’t get it, and there’s no reason for you to be commenting.

You can enjoy your current server and enjoy your stockpile, thats completely fine.

Others are allowed to want to start when no one has a stockpile and its just a level playing field with greatly reduced bots, etc etc.
If this has to be explained again and again, big yikes.

Just enjoy your server and stop trying to belittle others.

I feel the exact same way.
I only want to play if its on a TBC fresh realm, and if they don’t release fresh I just won’t play and will play other games.
It will just be depressing as a sort of missed opportunity as you described.

It truly doesn’t make sense to me why Blizz wouldn’t want to release fresh realms.
It was like: obviously people will want this with the new TBC expan. 100% obvious

Classic Wow: You think you do, but you don’t was actually surprisingly true after playing for a month or 2. The leveling experience is AMAZING, you meet friends along the way, relive all the great dungeons and quests. The nostalgia is BONERIFIC…So now you are 60, you do the raids once or twice and realize how terribly boring the end game for 60 is. I for one, definitely wanted TBC classic way before they even considered classic WoW. Of course, I tried classic WoW and loved the leveling, but again the idea of getting world buffs and farming spank and tank bosses for 30 minutes before raid logging for next reset is NOT FUN. Parsing is NOT FUN. Mages abusing aoe farming for gold cap is NOT FUN. WHEN NEXT FRESH?

I spoke with friends and family that play Classic WoW with me. We are all wanting a fresh TBC server. I think even if its just 1 or 2 servers being able to start on the same page as everyone will be a saving grace it will also help casuals be able to get into raids without the gold bidding system. Most casuals wont have the gold or time to go hard core so like in classic dungeons now without buying boosts or paying someone its near impossible to find people to group in dungeons with at any level. Please Blizzard hear our plea.

Which is more of a reason why fresh TBC would be even better. You get the leveling experience with improved endgame raiding. But you really cheapen one without the other.

Not at all man only people who think this are those who again didn’t farm till the end and aren’t sitting on there hardwork you probably being one of them.

I literally have full t2 geared tank + full fury prot BiS from halfway through AQ and 100 arcanite bars in my bank. I farmed all of this myself as a warrior so tell me again lol.

No T3? That’s not really all that great also people i know are on normally around 200+ Arcanite bars with Thunderfury. and over 7k gold

I didn’t say it was great. But when I stopped raiding my cutting edge guild collapsed due to corrupt officers. I would be in t3 if half my guild didn’t quit the game.

You know, there’s another reason we would like a fresh, to have a better community to go to. Definitely not that garbage I’m hearing.

I still haven’t seen a meaningful, thought out, or researched reason the playerbase is actively AGAINST having a fresh server. If a large portion of people that can fill a server want a fresh server, give them a fresh server. Can’t blame people for wanting it with the blatant amount of botted and purchased gold in circulation, not even taking into account the fact that character boosting for income has become mainstream and inflated the intended economy balance.

I also parsed in 89%tile of tanks with hand-me-down gear being the OT of my guild. yet apparently i’m some scrub xD
