And you honestly think that this fresh realm won’t have RMT? When the bots beat you to 70 and start selling gold to the players that want the path of least resistance ? Is the community on fresh server some weird altruistically pure one that I don’t know about lol?
Your point seems to be that fresh servers = dead servers but that isn’t true. Dead realms are going to exist regardless and not releasing fresh realms isn’t going to fix that and it’s not going to exacerbate the issue because people are already not rolling on these servers anyway.
Rerolling on dead, but still established realm isn’t the same as a fresh server.

I understand your viewpoint, but unfortunately Classic has gotten so out of control those servers are no longer desirable with what they have become.
I am hopeful with the TBC natural changes and developer introduced changes that they are now pushing for healthier outcomes for TBC Classic.
I look forward to leveling again, making new experiences and memories.

Consistent gold making and farming doesn’t come from these types of things and never has . The meta has shifted to farming in dungeons or the open world for consumable mats and selling those . Selling a sentry cloak isn’t a consistent way of making money and does not constitute of a reason to make a realm lol

Let me explain it to you in a way you will understand.
Imagine if you thought classic’s dungeons were too easy. You might complain and someone will say “just run the raids in greens and blues with no buffs and consumes!! 11”
To which you would probably raise an eyebrow and say “yeah screw that”…
You wouldn’t want artificial difficulty. In the same way, freshers don’t want to reroll because rerolling on a naxx server does not provide the same experience. It’s true you get a reroll but it feels wrong and you know that you’re going to have a hard time convincing others to do it and running dungeons will be nearly impossible. Wpvp will be getting camped by the mains of any alt you happen to kill.

What does a dead realm that has 1 or 0 raiding guilds on each side have as so undesirable exactly ? What is keeping you from refilling it ?
I mean with the amount of effort in here it seems you’re very capable , you’d just like blizzard to do the effort for you and create another dead realm.
i get a stack of cloth and put it on the auction house, but so many boosters have boosted people thru areas that have increased cloth drops, nobody needs it. the only things people need are the harder to obtain ores and herbs being mined and picked from underground and via fly hacks. there will be a small window in tbc to sell and by the time it closes, if you arent already rich, you will spend the rest of the game, vendoring
There are plenty of farms that are not affected by this like grave moss from SM, or ele earth from anywhere . There’s plenty of ways to make gold easily if you put in the smallest amount of effort.
By putting a gold cap, itwill encourage alot of the player base to continue their classic experience, but when you have players who bring 10’s or 100’s of thousands of gold over is a huge problem and will inflate the market so badly the rest of us won’t be able to buy items off the ah. All the items should all be soulbound as well to further eliminate inflation. I wouldnt be opposed to a fresh server either.
i do currently have a stack of 7 or so grave moss. takes hours to get though. such a slow respawn rate.

The kinds of people with deplorable responses in this thread talking down to those asking for fresh while they’re on their Level 60 Nax geared gold/mat stockpiled Rogue/Warrior/Mage is exactly the type of people that we don’t want to be playing with.
Yes you can argue these types of ugly people will be in every server, the difference is many of them are already on Current and will stay where they are, they won’t start fresh, and there wont be any boosting or stockpiling on these fresh servers. Meaning the problems of the current realms stay on the current realms.

Can you invite me to the fantasy land you live in lol? This fresh realm will have worse min maxxers if anything . People have already have planned their character for tbc and if anything with the knowledge they have , they would instantly destroy a fresh server . You think your fresh server will protected from anything ?
Your hugely unbalanced Blood elf ran server will have batters and min maxxers crushing you
Why is everyone so against it? If you don’t want fresh then don’t freaking reroll.
For people who would like to play on a server with a non ruined economy right from the gate some servers should be created.
