I collected my Goliath Trophy however I didn’t turn it in. I moved on to do the other daily quests in the area, I got disconneted from the game, came back and finished my daily’s in this area.
I went to turn in all my quests and the “getting ahead” quest was not in my quest log. I went to the NPC to see if I could get the quest again, nope, she didn’t offer it. I never turned this quest in and I can’t retake it, and I never got credit for it. It just disappeared on me after I got disconnected.
Depending on when it happened, it may be that the dailies reset. If that’s the case, then there’s nothing you can done unfortunately.
If the daily should still be available, then you might want to report it as a bug. That said, something you can try is leaving the area for a while and coming back to see if it shows back up. But if it won’t show back up, there’s not much else you can do.
Thanks for your reply, this happened about 2 to 3 hours after the reset so that’s not it. I will try doing a bug report as well and the other thing you suggested.
Our records for your character indicate that the quest “Getting Ahead” was completed about 16 minutes after it was started. You received 25g and 275 Coalescing Visions for handing it in.
Yeah I did the quest about 2 to 3 hours after the daily reset on 01/30/2020 but not the day before. And yeah I did do a UI reset (more than once) But thanks for your support, I do appreciate it
Blizzard is saying I completed it, which is fine. However what I find strange is unless i’ve been mind wiped or something, I don’t remember turning it in. I do all my quest and then turn them all in after I’m done. When I went to turn this one in, it was already gone… Which is why I found it so odd… shrugs Who knows… They say I got credit for it, which is good for me, that’s all I wanted anyway. I just didn’t want to get behind.
Thank you for the reply, that’s very odd because I never turned it in… or if I did I have zero memory if it… and i’m not THAT old yet… haha
Anyway thanks again for your reply, I hope you have a good day!
Some quests auto-complete themselves once you satisfy the objective. I don’t know if this is one of those, but I know I’ve forgotten that I completed a quest and an hour later couldn’t figure out why it “disappeared” from my quest log without ever turning it in.
