Hello and good day to those of you who are NOT INTERESTED IN CLASSIC WOW IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM AND DESPISE IT AND WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH IT PLEASE IGNORE THIS POST AND SORRY FOR MENTIONING IT

Still there? Well, i’m sure some people are, those who truly uncaring that classic is coming out and are upset or bothered about it, annoyed by… Well post like mine, i can understand that and sympathize with it.

We are two different player-bases who have two different idea’s on what we want in a game, but allow me to attempt to appeal to you, for in the end you lose nothing let us start there.

I come from the classic forums with the hopes of pushing for RP-PVP servers at the start. Nothing more nothing less, I am but one voice but there is disappointment of the news That there will be no RP-PVP servers at the launch of Classic. With this news I made THIS POST

I won’t waste your time with the data, (as it’s in the post above.) i will say this, help us so we may help you, maybe there is a change that will happen in the future of retail something dire and you will want support.

Well let us full-stop start to build a bridge right here and now, help us push for RP-PVP servers at start, it is a start to repair some shred of a community between us, maybe you don’t want that and want nothing to do with us. But if not for that. Then do it for The PVPER friends long gone, or for the Roleplayers who have made content you enjoyed no longer around. Do it for the Spirit of World of Warcraft, If not that then do it for your fellow nerd in arms.

Alright, now allow me to appeal to the other folk around. Everyone in some shape or form RP-PVPs. YOU Who Lurks in the fourms do you not RP-PVP who you desire for Warchief and who is a traitor? What race rules them all. Is the King of Stormwind a poor leader?

How about those who play on normal servers and never turn on warmode, you think you’ve never RP-PVP’d? Well i’m sure you played Legion, picture those Demons as you cut them down without mercy. You where RP-PVPing them, as you get loot ignoring as much story as you could, so you could hang in LFR Or go on and push Heroic / Mythic with your guild, or collect as much mog and pets as possible!

For PvPers, think of all the wanton brutally and chaos you can cause, if not cause then support by aiding in my plea city’s burnt, Civilians fleeing in mass, due to the destruction of RP-PVP made events. YOU have the power to make this happen.

So i extend my hand to you beggar bowl in hand report my post for trolling as i have no doubt it will be but as long as i get one person here to at least have bit of empathy and think “Well i may never play classic, but there’s no reason some folk shouldn’t play RP-PVP servers at the start.” Then i can be happy with that, and i wish you a good day.

Why bring this to GD? GD is for the live game. You clearly know that the Classic Discussion section exists as your original thread is there, so what motivated you to post here?

The folks who are interested in Classic are spending time in the Classic Discussion forum.

To spread awareness. While this is an issue pertaining to Classic servers, a lot of people don’t read the forums there even if they are interested in playing Classic.

If you read the OP i answer that, but thank you for your comment, while i do agree that there are a bunch of people who are looking forward to classic there.

I also think there are some people who don’t use that media outlet, Maybe they only see General forums and assume it’s not there, maybe it’s just not something they can keep up with, i for example never read Reddit myself or post on it. You’re more then welcome to flag my OP for trolling, but i ask you not to. For i am here simply for the reason i stated.

Well… okay, seems like a wasted effort to me.

I don’t really see a problem with the thread being here, I just don’t really see the point of it. Makes me think of taking your bicycle to a motorcycle rally to make sure the motorcyclists know that bicyclists like rallies too.

The effort may be wasted, you’re not wrong. But without trying we truly do not know, that’s why i made the OP and was able to branch out to Reddit, and EU forums as well on this topic.

This is one reason myself, unity in all things, at least in WoW

But i agree with you, i wouldn’t bring my 1968 Cadillac to a 2019 Muscle expo, but with fear that it may be impossible to make this car, or to ever find the parts and so on.

I would ask my fellow car comrades, to at least bow there heads as to why you may never see one on the road again.

After spending time in war mode, I have come to appreciate the danger and excitement of world pvp. I was looking forward to playing on an rp-pvp realm, to experience it while leveling in an environment that is decidedly more difficult to play in, while still having the freedom to rp with like minded people. It would be unfortunate to have to pick between the two kinds of servers. Please reconsider the decision to not have an rp-pvp realm in classic. And please spread awareness, if you care about this topic.

Even in the EU classic has it’s own forums. Pretty neat huh? A shame Oce doesn’t. Not to sure why.

I don’t think OCE actually has its own forums aside from General Discussion and maybe server forums. Even if they do, they don’t have any CMs. They’ve gone years without a blue post.

No, because you posted it in General; So you invited me.

Classic will be a novelty server, with a very high dropout rate (once people realize they have nothing to do at 60 but 40 person raid, while they can’t make/be in a guild that can 40 person raid.)

So I don’t think they will make every kind of “niche” Classic server.

In your own post, you just argued against your own point; You just said that people did it anyway, so why do you need a specific server to do it?

Well, thank you very much for posting here first of all, i am glad i made you feel invited! Secondly Blizzard did confirm They will be putting out PVP RP and Normal servers, while they do feel Classic RP-PVP servers are “Niche”

Though we do have some data going against that. I’m hoping to find more and people who can provide me with numbers to counter that.

We are actually not to sure how many we are getting it’s quite a debate. I personally think it’s maybe more then 20, since the demo had 20, and from what i re-call most where high / Full? I’m not 100% sure for i was not there for the event myself.

Well because, it was in Vanilla! in fact it was until. Uh, whenever they did the war-mode change I’m not to sure when that was, Pre patch to BFA i think.

Personally i meant that more as a joke myself haha.
