Take an alt, go directly into PVP. Never do the cloak quest. See how high you can run it in 2v2 or 3v3.

all I know is you can grab a 406 ilvl mage and be instant gladiator

Loved the fact I talked him into playing his 400 ilvl mage into getting glad because it’d make it easier to find games on his warrior. Don’t know how well that one went
You would have to do the starting cloak quest there’s no other way to get a cloak. Unless you put on a low level cloak or something.
You can get 420 cloaks from world quests.
Edit: and 430 ones from regular mythic dungeons

I think with gear 2100+ is easily achievable right now. Was playing 1900 mmr with a god awful disc priest. Went 11-3.
Trillebartom is already doing it my dude.
Also, having done this myself on a 385 ilvl sv hunter playing with a 90k hp druid, something strange happens. Your first 10 games you often play against people as undergeared as you, then you start to hit a bunch of people with 450k health over and over again and your w/l starts to tank.
It also depends heavily on whether the comp your running is a CC comp or not. I would guess a skilled but undergeared mage/rogue would make it much further than a skilled but undergeared hpal/rogue.
I’ve been playing on my lock alt. It’s pretty fun. Helping me understand what are the weaknesses of the class too. I just can’t stomach mage. Even with shield nerfs they are still so busted.

I just remember hitting you with a 263k bolt on a 20 stack infernal and downing you with it. Seemed like a massive L2P issue running back out during a 20 stack.
