No I’m saying it’s not as simple as “hur hur, cheap shot, gouge, kidney shot, dead”
You’re a troll and obviously have zero experience with PvP and that’s fine, just quit pretending you do.
Also, I said you’re not going to kill a Druid in blue gear before kidney is down. Please read again. “Not going to kill a Druid in even blue pvp gear before kidney is down.” Aka the Druid could be in blue pvp gear and he’d more often than not survive the opener. Thanks for proving that your attention to detail is pretty much on vacation though!
Rogues with literally any partner can easily delete Druids and all you have to do to understand this is watch some high ranked streamers or play with one who isn’t doodoo.
Eh I’m not a serious PvPer, I mostly just do unrated skirmishes, but I’m often thrown against rogues in S2 gear. Unless I get 2v1’d I don’t get deleted at all and I only have around 255 resilience. So easy to slip away and I pretty much never die in the rogue opener unless I’m being double teamed, and even then I can trinket and slip away 90% of the time. Not to mention I almost never get opened on, my partner does, because I’m stealthed. I don’t really fear Rogues at all.
Did you look at the logs in the bug report post? It can be seen there quite clearly that 2 poison stacks apply from a shiv without any other event in that server tick (if an offhand swing went off it would show either the damage it did, or a dodge/parry/miss - but the only thing to happen in that server tick was 1 shiv and 2 stacks of deadly poison applied.
But I love your anecdotal take - also might want to reassess your strategy if you do all that and are still 1500 rated
This bug is something Mir has mentioned himself - one of the top rogue pvp’ers in the world. But I love the replies from rogues with no proof to back anything up just basically saying “its not bugged, I’m stuck at 1400 so it can’t be bugged”
Obviously a troll here. But I have almost entirely ran season 2 of Arena matches and BG’s with an amazing set of gear. Dragonmaw, Glad offhand mace, 4 piece glad set, DST, brooch, engineering random useful items, all the various off-piece honor gear fully gemmed and enchanted… etc. I weapon swap for the ability to have the right poisons for each class I battle. I either run Shadowstep/Assassination build or HARP mace stun pvp spec depending on what I feel like running.
any half decent pvp geared druid can have me stun lock them until I have no CD’s left… they ALWAYS use bark skin when I open, and I usually have to sap/blind them until it goes away. Not to mention that most of the time they can just trinket and swap to bear form.
if you are a rogue not perfectly timing your shiv, shadowstep, deadly throw, cloak…. Etc abilities to keep them slowed and stay on top of them, they will just shift and run away, and put Faerie fire on you while running circles around you.
point is that fighting any decent druid with semi-viable pvp gear means that you have to ABSOLUTELY play 100% flawlessly to even have a 10% chance to kill them before you have burned all of your major CD’s as a rogue… this “cheap shot, kidney shot, burrrrrrr” mentality just shows that you must be massively ignorant on a scale that would shame even the most brain dead of single celled organisms, or you are trying too hard to troll people and still don’t realize how pitiful your efforts are.
Well I know shiv can’t double proc a poison by one shiv cast alone. I even went out to some random mobs with only an off-hand weapon equipped to shiv several hundreds of times to see if I could have been mistaken and just never noticed. With a shiv/stop attack macro making it where I could shiv without auto attacking, it never applied twice…. Counted up to 50 Talbuks in Nagrand being shivved to death and not a single double proc. As soon as I use Shiv normally where it starts my auto attack it happened to apply two poisons at once, from the shiv and from the off-hand auto attack swing landing at the same time. And BTW if you are not in a /Startattack stance and cast shiv to engage any enemy, the off-hand will swing before the main hand…. So starting combat with shiv can often seem like it’s applied twice. But Shiv does not apply more than 1 poison per application
