They do plan for it at release and the start of expansions, that’s why ShB didn’t have a huge bottleneck in the story like SB did. They don’t plan for it in the middle of an end of expansion content drought.

Joking aside, you can’t deny that there’s a decline in quality that has happened for quite a while now. The only way to make them listen to the playerbase is by stopping the consumption of their product and choose a substitute. That way, WoW will start taking competition seriously and will give more effort to improve the game.

To give some people a comparison idea, this would be like if at the end of MoP, nine months or so into Seige if Orgrimmar, the game had a sudden influx of players everywhere. It would make no sense…unless there was a mass exodus coming from somewhere else.

I had the same problem, I despised the look. I went and tried it anyway and its growing on me a bit. I still prefer WoW’s cartoon style but I find myself wanting to log into FF more because of the lack of complicated combat systems, a slow well told story, tons of things to do and great looking spells.
I just wish I could find a ff14 game play and community with WoW/Wildstar art style.

Blizzard has the same amount of full servers and a large number of high population servers…
Except for Blizzard it’s not a problem

I’m sorry. I play both FF14 and WoW. I never shove FF in a WoW players face and vice versa. I feel bad that the player base of a game ruined it for you.

I just don’t like the constant comparisons on this forum. If it was a now and then thing I wouldn’t mind but it’s all the time now and they usually get offended and defensive when you tell them it’s too much talk about ff14 on the WoW forums. Like why not praise ff14 or hate on ff14 on the ff14 forums instead? I’m also aware it’s not everyone who plays the game being annoying but at least for now I’m so sick of constantly seeing the comparisons that I’m just not interested.

Yes, I was very sad when the population went from high to medium just a few months into Shadowlands, and we started to get CRZ’d with realms I had never seen before 
It’s so quiet on the server now.
