Ahhhh ok. 
you do realize this means FF14 is being flooded with new players right? while blizz is bleeding subs, everyone is hopping on FF14, i bet blizz is losing sleep right now, with ashes of creation fixing to come out, FF14 stealing away wow players, and the prospect of another failed expansion blizz will practice convincing themselves everyone loves their gameplay banning their critics, blizz should be doing damage control by losening up their game mechanics, but they’re not, they’re just adding things that does nothing to keep players subbed, we’re not playing this game to collect cosmetics, we play this game for the progression of our character, they need to start putting stats on these cosmetics we’re being forced to farm

I do believe management will see the numbers and the team will be held accountable, but wow just dying, wont happen not right away there is still time

not this time, i think wow has ran out of time from the legion days, legion was where it began, i think this game has one expansion of life left, it’s why next expansion is the end of the lore of Wow
Nah if they announced something big people been asking for, everyone would be back in a heartbeat, (imho)
guess you forgot how many promises they broke where ppl subs then unsubs 3 months later once they realize they’ve been lied to, only so many times you lie to someone before ppl stops listening to you and moves on
core /loyal players wont leave due to dev mistakes, and if some do they will come back after the tried something else or play both. Heck UO is older and core group still plays it.
You likely say that sarcastically, but Im more sad about leaving these forums than I was the game. That reaffirmed for me, that I know im making the right choice.

Using twitch numbers to show which game is more popular is idiotic in itself but i’ll bite. If WoW’s twitch numbers mean more players then why is it anytime asmongold plays FFXIV he’s at 100k-200k viewers while he’s sitting at 26k playing WoW right now?

Umm wasn’t other day when everyone came posting wow is dead based on twitch viewership.
I’m more then fine with a couple of mistakes. Everyone makes them you acknowledge them, correct them, and move on with the awareness not to make the same mistake in the future.
WoW developers have continued to make the same mistakes over and over and stick to them despite enormous backlash from a lot of the community time and time again. When this happens eventually you come to the realization that nothing is going to change and if you want something different your going to have to look elsewhere.
Thats were I’m at for the moment. I love WoW and want to see it succeed but for the moment it offers me nothing I care for while other games do. If we see changes made in the dev direction I’ll be back in a heartbeat.

Seriously though, my biggest issue with the FF14 story is there is no real character growth. You start off right from the get knowing you are “The Chosen One” aka Jeebus.
At least with Shadowlands, it was confirmed that a) sure being a Maw Walker is nifty but we’re not the only one (although Korthia retconned that). But nevertheless, what I enjoy about Shadowlands is yes, we can pass to and from the Maw at will. But someone still has to go out and farm those bear butts.
Most of the character growth has revolved around the denizens of the Shadowlands whereas we’re only the weirdo bear bity collecting Maw Walkers.
Have to say it is because of all these FF things that has really turned me off to the game not to mention none of the races appeal to me. As someone who does play two games, other is ESO, I am not even logging into that anymore lost interest with 9.1 and getting to fly.
If you like FF great have fun playing it while I will still be playing WOW until they shut it down forever.
Though I do agree with you, but I would say/add, it is kind of disingenuous to say FF is a better game because one is mad at the devs, and not based on the games as a whole when compared side to side, . FF dont even come close to wow in content that wow offers even if bad decisions have been made by elitist. I blame the devs not the game. Just my thoughts on it. Seems like a army FF fans are trying to sell the game on the wow forums.
