Yeah if you wanna play on a dead server go for it.
can play with 6k horde on Faerlina or 1000 horde on Grob. Answer is obvious.
They really shouldnt actually. Plenty of people on Bene and faerlina who joined there because thats where everyone is…
If they merge they 100% need to include free xfers to PvE for the vast majority of players can migrate off without paying.
I guarantee you the new merge will have plummeted populations

I mean… on paper, join a tol group… 10 horde, 90 alliance (yes I know it’s cross realm) , also I’ve been back to cata for 3 weeks now and found 0 raid groups on horde side between 7am est-2pm when I play. Grobb is dead
Only world pvp exists on Anniversary servers, blizz will not faction balance these classic servers for cata/Mop ever. and have no intentions to.

The realms ended up like that because people did not want the reality of ‘balanced’ world PvP.
To quote a designer on another game: People think a PvP game is fair when they have about a 70% win rate.

Sure, they should offer free transfers off ahead of time but having at least one realm with the faction balance system would be good. If the realm dies oh well but I don’t think it would.
Grob is sitting right there. I’d like to see people move to it and show the desire for a faction balanced server.
Nobody wants to move to a dead server tho…

That is the catch 22 isn’t it. If people avoid Grob because the population is low then it cannot grow. You could never pull 98% faction server back to 50/50 but getting Grob from 1000 horde/ 1000 alliance ironforge numbers to 1300 per or 1500 per seems doable.
The numbers at the moment are only slightly off from right before Cata.
Personally I think its worth a shot and am rerolling there.
Either merge them or link them.
Why anyone wants to play on a lopsided PvP realm defies logic.
