99% of dungeon groups are waiting for tanks

ah just a troll not here for actual discussion, got it, reported ignored. thanks

Man 99% is a big portion of players. You sure its that high?

Your the one trolling and flagging for no reason. The entire thread is about the community treating tanks a way. Stop being obtuse.

Did healers ask for this? They masochists?

Keeping up a Blood Death Knight alongside my Blood Pressure in a Grim Batol sure is something I would’ve remember being asked.

lmao.

As healer, i can affirm this statement.

Knowing how stressful it is to be a tank, whenever I enter a group I just do a /wave and always stand behind the tank waiting for the tank to attack before I do.

I tried tanking multiple times and was stressed out of my mind, I don’t know how people deal with it tbh

its just troll bait to blame healers, but it was minority outspoken few on the forums who were, and still are, complaining that tanks dont play they way they want them too. either too fast or too slow, no pleasing these people, yet they refuse to go be the type of tank they want. (they would run into the same problems tanks do so that is the irony in it)

and obviously this only applies to lfg. in good guilds tanks are prized possesions

They were hardly nerfed to start with, it also has nothing to with it. Tanks have always been the least played role followed by healers. Its also the least used role when it comes to raiding with only two slots required for a 25man.

Can’t let entire role hold the game hostage by demanding to be super heros.

how to give more likes to same post?

agreed. same applies to dps and healer. so why are you acting as if tanks arent held hostage by the group?

They just need to make tank bags even more common.

And maybe put mounts in them again.

Make the mounts BOE.

i agree with this. currently its a literal spit in the face reward lol. can get more from literally doing anything else in the game

This is why I stopped. Tanking is my favorite role, but I spend a lot of time playing solo, and I have enough other things in life to worry about than accidentally pulling a mob that timmy is now going to give me a ration of crap about because the mythic tool says you aren’t allowed to deviate from the ordained path.

If this community wasn’t early League of Legends levels of toxic in all random group content, the queues would probably be shorter.

They are averaging 5000g for me after selling the runes. Could probably hold the runes for Tuesday and make a little more.

But ultimately all they are right now is gold and many tanks don’t need it.

This has nothing to do with it, and tanks are still more OP than they should be IMO.

Tanks are just something that you don’t really need many of in the game. 2 for every raid, 1 for every dungeon, and Delve, in PvP you are often better off without them even if they can be good FC and at spinning flags.

It’s the same with healers but you need more of them around in raids and PvP so more people will play them.

DPS on the other hand are a dime a dozen. They are the best for most world content, you need mostly DPS in every form of group content and even without that it’s the most popular way people like to play games in general.

As tanks like healers have a very group-focused role, most of them are likely in guilds and would rather play with their friends over random people. I know I only tank/heal when playing with friends and would rather stick to DPS with random people. The tanks as the smallest group of players in WoW will also gear out quicker than the majority of other specs and simply not need to do M0’s and other content like that. Raiding on the other had is often less of an issue with finding tanks in my experience, my guilds in the past always had too many and I only had to tank like once in a raid for them when classic killed the guild in BFA.

The only way to fix this issue is if they removed the tank role and just balanced the game around DPS taking the hits like in other games.

Tanks are far from nerfed they are still viable most not even needing a healer

It’s kinda nerve wracking to learn to play Tank. Everyone blames you for everything and expects you to know everything. As a DPS all you have to do is stand around and kill stuff while trying to avoid standing in the puddles-o-death. At least that’s what it was like for me when I tried pugging dungeons.

I always thought it would be neat if Tanks could do damage while playing alone in their Tank Spec and then when grouping up in dungeons it would automatically reduce their damage. Sounds easy enough “IN THEORY”.

I leveled this toon 70-80 this weekend, solely through tanking War Within normal dungeons through group finder. I’m no M+ pro or anything but I don’t pull one pack at a time. I feel like I pull at a decent speed and adjust as needed, however in one dungeon, the healer was zooming ahead of me pulling everything and then literally standing on top of me saying “go”. Gave him a warning to knock it off, he responds by attempting to pull half the instance thinking he can tank it and wiped the group.

I tried to vote kick him and it failed so I just said cya, thank your healer. It’s funny how the community in general complains about queue times instead of looking internally and figure out why less people play tanks. It’s because of the abuse. Expansion has barely been out for a month and people expect tanks to know dungeons like the back of their hand and treat normals like its a M+ qualifier event.
