9.2 = A Sylvanas Dream Come True

I assumed you do because of how much you complain about that place.

Well, I guess that means I do. I care only because it’s the most populated part of the forum, and it’s so toxic. It’s the best representation for what the community thinks.

Is it though? The WoW community is more than just general discussion.

There’s hundreds of thousands of people who play WoW and will never post a single thing on the forums.

I know plenty of good people who play WoW and avoid the forums like the black plague

Since so much of the storyline of both Shadowlands and Battle for Azeroth has been about paralellism between Arthas and Sylvannas, it behooves us to remember that in many cases Redemption is Death.

Arthas’ book is likely not the only one to be closed soon.

Cinematic was garbage and Slyvanas was butchered anyone who calls this a respectful moment of her character is just a fanboy for sake of being a fanboy. They turned an empowering female villain into a joke and I won’t stand for this mockery. Edit: if you enjoyed it good on you and everyone else however personally I don’t like what they did with slyvanas

Delete the first part of your comment but keep the edit. They say that the first thing people say are what they have been socialized to say. The second thing is what they actually feel. I am going to apply this logic as a filter to your comment.

Care to explain why?

I did explain.

As a woman, I can assure you i’m not fanboying. If anything I’m fangirling, and there’s a huge difference. Also ‘ruined a feminist character’ pfffft how? They didn’t, that’s the stupidist thing I’ve ever heard as a feminist.

Your edit was the only good pov.

No one has been socialized to hate slyvanas well not me I stated I hate the cinematic they didn’t need to redeem her she’s not even slyvanas anymore she’s a different character entirely. And I don’t care if you are a women I still stand by the statement that they took a female who worked herself from the ground literally up and made her give a pity story. Slyvanas never seeked pity for her actions.

Just to be…well THAT guy, we’re assuming she’s getting redeemed. We actually don’t know how the final cinematic with her is going to end.

All we know is that she has a face off with Tyrande and faces Tyrande judgement

I don’t understand either what being a women has to do with liking or hating slyvanas it doesn’t add to the point. I never bring up I am bisexual for bisexual characters I like or dislike.

Because Ren, as a woman, often has her views and fan theories dismissed or outright ridiculed on here. And being a woman, she has a unique perspective on things that us men don’t have or often fail to notice

She probably has them ridiculed or dismissed because their are unpopular opinion. If she’s saying it’s because she’s a woman it’s simply untrue. I was ridiculed earlier for saying straight people have too much representation doesn’t mean it was because I am bisexual.

The irony of it all? Most of her theories have wound up true to some degree or another

And never underestimate how pathetic and toxic this community is

So I’m toxic and pathetic because I view her as an individual. Not by her gender or sexuality. I do this for everyone mind you if I see something I disagree with i am going state my mind. It’s same thing for example the situation in Ukraine anyone arguing Russia is right is wrong.

Who said anything about you? I said the community was. Not you

Well you mentioned the community. I assumed you were talking about me to that which I apologize for.

If I meant you, I would have just said it. I don’t make people guess what I mean

I am already really upset with blizzard considering they have a history of being incels and this bro culture. The fact they in my eyes ruined one of their best female characters is disheartening. I will give them props for Shaw and Flynn.
