I personally enjoy when people ask me if I’ve seen his videos about Demo and get to learn that idc about his content and it means nothing to me and wouldn’t apply to pvp.
I hate to say this man but your logic is all wrong.
The reason why I was 1500 last season and haven’t even been able now to try rated pvp is a completely different matter and you and I actually discussed this in another topic.
So, being 1500 doesn’t invalidate years of playing wow. I never said “the class is bad”, but I have played warlock since vanilla.
Affliction is in a very poor state compared to mostly any other expansion. You can’t deny that Affliction in TBC was much better compared to Shadowlands. That’s why I said it needs a rework.
Demonology definitely needs those bugs to be fixed, or me being 1500 means those bugs are fantasy as well?
Destruction is the only class that I enjoy in pvp and I can get by even with my crappy gear. I would like to see that chaos bolt hit as much as it did before 9.1. Would you deny this as well since I’m 1500?
Let me tell you something. If you can give me a real advice in how the heck can I get into RBGs, I’ll go ahead and gear up and get myself to 2000.

Its not… stop quoting me unless your unless the goal is to improve by listening to what I say and accepting its true.
I was using 1500 as a example… the fact that you are a 1500 player kind of proves my point.
1500 players don’t understand the simplest forms of how pvp works and its why they are 1500. To them its “Go in smash cooldowns and race to death” and that’s not at all how pvp/arena is done semi correctly.
It does… if a player stays low its usually because they are bad… especially that low… that is playing the game with a wii remote bad.
You have put in negligible effort you will reap negligible rewards.
Easy… Join/form yolos they always fill quick… gear up with that and the 230 buyable crafted gear… once geared start to host your own and seek out communicating with players that suit your class/spec. Form arena and be willing to lose to learn and then once you have that 3s team of any kind of consistency ask or pay gold for a higher rated player to coach you.
Duel folks outside of durotar with WM on… talk to people… socialize and even if the population is low… there are plenty of folks who just want to play.
My patented “Hide in the back of RBGs and watch Chaos Bolt go brrr” strat got me to 1800 rating last season with (I think) a 60%+ winrate and I think only one time I was not top damage.
Sometimes it’s stand back then smash cooldowns.

Hey Epic. I finally got most of my 220 pvp gear and have been trying to get into either arenas or yolos… no luck there. Same story on yolos it’s an auto decline when joining a group. No responses in arenas either. Close to 2 hours daily wasted on these attempts for… 2 or 3 weeks.
I get what you say about taking effort but at this point in previous expansions I would be full pvp gear and would had a greater chance to get into RBGS/Arenas if I wanted to. Now it’s not working anymore.
Any advise?
Make your own groups.
Its what I suggested before… and congrats on mostly 220… don’t forget to also use some of the 230 crafted/etc.
You cannot get declined if you form your own groups and there are plenty of folks just as desperate as you.
Thanks man. I’ve made my own 230 bracers for now. May swap for a 230 ring from the AH in the future.
I haven’t tried making my own group though. I recognize I have no experience to lead an arena match much less a RBG

To add on top, also the bugs of shadowbolt and demonbolt sometimes not generating a shard when cast on an enemy, at the start of a pull, leaving you only at 4 or still 3. Killing your opener.

just make sure it lands after youre in combat or open with 2 Shadowbolts, it shouldnt brick your opener as you shouldnt be starting your soulrot cycle before having 5 shards. its an issue with combat reset timers, other classes have similar issues
I really wish Nether portal would get the proper cooldown buff it needs. if it got the cooldown of Tyrant and lasted a bit longer, it would be perfect. Maybe even have it be apart of Wilfred’s.
On top of that, i wish they made a talent like pleasure through pain for each demon and even adjust some talents so whatever demon you have out, it’ll be that skill set they use according to what you have in the talent tree. Like a version of Soul strike and Demonic strength.
