Does Renown carry over when switching in this change, or will it need to be re-farmed?
Also (very minor suggestion) would be nice if, when switching, any new followers for the command table for the covenant they’re moving to could just be set at your already-established average follower level, rather than at level 1.
The option to play both a Kyrian and Forsworn under the same race would be ideal honestly. They use the same models, mostly just a color swap.
Night Fae wise, the Sylvar would likely be the playable race. They use the female draenei frame, and have already been proven the ability to sport player armor. I believe they’re the most realistic possibility.
Maldruxxus wise, I think the forms they have are good the way they are; they don’t look the same as the Forsaken. Perhaps the ability to toggle between bone and figure structures would be ideal, actually that would be awesome.
The Venthyr would be the obvious choice from Revendreth. Many players have been asking to play a vampire-based race, and this is pretty much that.
Having to reach max renown to be able to change covenants is still kinda stupid tho specially since max renown will only be available in a few months… But also bad for people with many alts like me, grinding all the way up there would be massively boring.
All the changes are welcome though, it is a step in the right direction. Hopefully the will be stay this way
Cool. Give warlocks metamorphosis back.

Did they fix solo raiding in Legion?

As opposed to being able to use a Goblin Glider Kit to skip all the elites and drop right into the World Boss area? Not that hard to do and saves a lot of time.

I’m wondering if the PvP gear changes are going to affect war mode.
I decided to main Alliance this xpac and I normally always run in war mode. I want to go back to that but again, I don’t want to be farmed by players with big gear while I’m running around in the SL.
I really miss that about BFA. I liked having options to get conquest points. I don’t like being pigeon holed into 1 aspect of the game to get gear that is compatable. I’m not asking for the best gear, just gear that allows me to survive some.
PvP should always be Bring the player, not the gear. Always.

For the lightforged draenei I would love to see the plating/tattoos color be changeable apart from the color such as the green skin tone being able to make the armor tattoo silver or even a color that blends in enough its not overly noticeable. I prefer the glowing yellow runic tattoos dont really care for the armorish look

i hope this is the devs finally getting some freedom to make gameplay good, not just profitable. These all seem like good changes, thank you for finally listening or being allowed to listen.

Why in tarnation did it take this long for all of this to happen? Glad it is though!

“Better late than never”, I guess.
Now, we just have to actually wait for the patch to arrive.
The problem is, I don’t want to have to wait weeks and weeks to get the rest of my alts in Shadowlands. But I suppose between then and now I should actually get off my lazy duff and actually get my main’s renown caught up, now that I have actual reason to do so.
EDIT: I also “love” how they give in-depth explanations as to why they didn’t do the covenant switching thing, but yet they suspiciously left out an explanation as to why they wouldn’t give us the Maw Intro Skip earlier.
Nice, you guys are fixing the mess that was created by yourselves. Now, we need a better gear system. I really don’t have the time, nor i’m interested in raiding. Make BIS gear to M+ drops from M+. And not for raiding/PVP.
Maybe the same system that we have in PVP? (Better Ilvl inside dungeons?)

They increased the drop rates for the items needed causing the legendary market to crash. This is already live. If anything this change hurt many of the crafters who were stock piling crystals that bought them with tokens. I sold more then 60 the week prior to the change and feel bad that others ended up spending twice what they would have had they just waited.
Even before this though you could farm crystals yourself (including on alts and then mail them to your main) and pay a very small amount for a rank 6.
With that said the highest ranks are not necessary. The power of legendaries lies in their abilities and not their ilvl. Even with a paltry rank 4 I parse 99% heals and 86% damage. Don’t get me wrong I still plan on upgrading the lego myself at some point, but its not really needed.
There have also been some recent changes to this as well that are live.
Most of the adds were created by low level alts so this has helped a ton. On Stormrage I know I don’t often see more then 2 at a time now and if I report them and switch toons those adds are still gone.
Is it the best solution? No, honestly I think allowing us to filter title strings for key words would be the best solution or even add a boost LFD all on its own. But this change was at least a step in the right direction.
This sounds like a unique problem, as I don’t see it. If anything M+ has expanded my group of friends as we often share quite a few discords so we can always find each other. Offhand I want to say my current clique is 9 people across 3 guilds, but I don’t do much M+ and play at an odd time, many of the guys have their own lists that are three or four times larger. Often these span a huge margin from 100% parsers to grey parsers and the entirety of the key range spectrum.

I wonder if Max Renown means 80, or an as of yet unknown… 120.
Given how angry players are, I hope it’s the former rather than the latter.
I’m hoping these are just some of the customizations for Lightforged and not all of them, because I remember this black/gold alternating vertical stripe down the back hairstyle for LF females, sort of like Cleopatra’s, that I found on Wowhead before the race went live along with the other Lightforged heritage armor tints. https://wow.zamimg.com/uploads/screenshots/normal/679374-lightforged.jpg At the time I didn’t think to get pictures of other angles, but I’m hoping they add this one.

Looks fine but that heirloom upgrade feels not so good. Unless there is a nifty bonus added what’s the point? It would cost a LOT of gold to upgrade most of the heirlooms. Which I guess is no big deal since people just sell tokens to get gold right.
If memory serves you can go from 50-60 in less than 10-12 hours without heirlooms. I wouldn’t be surprised if people can do it in 5-6 hours or less nowadays, it’s been a while since I last leveled a character. But again if nothing is actually done to heirlooms beside just increasing the rank then… really what is the point?
