There are hints that Soul Ash will be easier to obtain in 9.1, possibly opening more than just two halls, possibly even with changes to TC.
We don’t know what 9.1 is going to look like yet, so complaining about it now makes you look whiny.

99% sure Balance of All Things is still the best legendary for Balance in 9.1.
It wasn’t even nerfed that hard. It nerfed the burst that it granted Convoke the Spirits, not the sustained dps.
Live: 40% Crit Decreasing by 8% every second. (40%, 32%, 24%, 16%, 8%, 0)
PTR: 24% Crit Decreasing by 3% every second. (24%, 21%, 18%, 15%, 12%, 9%, 6%, 3%, 0)
If anything, this is a sustained dps buff. Literally all it does it nerf the burst it gave Convoke the Spirits. If anything, they should be complaining about the fact Night Fae isn’t looking like the end all covenant for balance in 9.1.
You don’t get reimbursed for something that’s expected to happen. We ALL knew covenant powers/legendaries would be nerfed in future patches. They did the same thing in Legion.
No your logic is flawed, Blizz doesn’t nerf enchants, pots, and flask in an expansion and make them irrelevant after you pay for them on a Monday and have them be irrelevant by Sunday.
Tell that in discord, almost everyday have at least one person crying about it.
I like the changes. It’s kind of freeing, actually. Letting us to give a chance to play different covenant, even though it’s not the best.
Never in my days would I think people would say this and believe it.
You’re not taking into account that:
A) Full moon has been removed from PvP for a while.
B) It’s taking up your leggo slot. No 80% (or 64% after the nerfs) crit chance on astral spells.
C) Regular convoke casts 4-5 healing spells meaning this one is going to cast 2-3 leaving only 5-6 damaging spells over a 2s channel, even worse if they’re in melee range cuz feral/guardian abilities will consume 1-2 of those 5-6 abilities.
It’s a very bad leggo once you look at it objectively.
I wouldn’t mind a partial refund on soul ash, to be honest. Destroy the base item and missives, but refund like…75% of soul ash would be nice. People make mistakes, people change their minds. Just a minor thought, though.
Legion weapons was a lott better then shadowlands
yeah, that’s why I said
It’s Gonna be super fun mini-convoking every 60 seconds.
ROFLMAO! They’re not “reimbursing” a choice you made, knowing they nerf and buff things.
Lel
Better start saving for the next one
Big RIP to your leggo dreams though
And they didn’t nerf legendaries in a weeks time, it was several months… one season… it’s been like this for…ever… they nerf stuff, they buff stuff each major patch especially.
You don’t even know how much they’re nerfing it yet,.
You know how I know that? THEY don’t even know how much they’re nerfing it yet, that’s one of the things that they’re doing the PTR to decide. They will nerf it until it is good but not too good. And when they’re done with that? It will still be good.
You’re not out any currency though. You still have a legendary which provides a reasonable amount of power relative to other legendaries. And if it was ever more than that, you shouldn’t have expected that to last given the history of WoW.
Of course, the new stuff will have to be better and give you reason to grind / spend more gold!
The easiest and fastest way to make the new stuff better is to nerf old stuff.
That’s how the cookie crumbles…
9.2 will break some more…
You’ll get the gold back with interest… all you need to do is sell a token
This is some cheesy dialogue right here
10/10
Hopefully it will still be usable and good without being OP and without being trash. Classes get needed all the time. If you chase a new bis leggo it may be needed as well. As long as you can still kill stuff, I would call your investment a success.
But have you tried 2000 year british bog butter? Yes they used to bury butter and cheese in the bog to preserve it like putting it in a deep freeze, and it is still edible.
