9.1 Proposed nerfs to legendaries

Blizz is reworking classes and nerfing legendaries. Namely the Boomkin balance above all things. I just dropped 80k gold to have that in 235. So how will Blizz be reimbursing the time I spent grinding for that gold or the money that that gold could have went towards in terms of a wow token? This is the issue with this expansions legendary system. Legion did it better especially when they introduced better ways to get the legendaries you didn’t have.

Cheese expires, my man.

Sorry about your gold but I sincerely hope you had fun while it lasted.

They won’t because they owe you nothing. You paid for something off of the auction house for current content when it is current content. 9.1 is barely even on the PTR.

But your meaningful choices! :upside_down_face:

Why should you get gold for cheating?

When you take advantage of broken things, don’t be surprised when they get fixed.

Your new legendary will still function just fine after 9.1

“But Briselody, it won’t the very best (according to the guides I play the game out of).”

You’ll get over it.

You’re saying he’s cheating by using the #1 BiS leggo for Boomkin (notoriously agreed upon across different WoW 3rd party sites…) not to mention ALL THE OTHER DRUIDS ROCKING THE SAME LEGGO because it sims the maximum benefit.

And that’s cheating…

Multiple people can cheat at the same time. I remember when people didn’t need to use the best set-up and they could pick what was fun for them and their character. Now cheating is the norm!

So many people who do not normally play balance druid have picked one up. You know why? To CHEAT.

Well basically all gears last on season or expansion basis. 80k is gone for good

This is why we can’t have nice things.

Players complain about imbalance.

Players also complain when blizzard balances.

Sad times.

In all seriousness, when Blizzard does such a stark nerf they should convert the item back into soul ash, missives, and the base item.

Let’s recall it takes about 5 weeks of running about 1 hour of Torghast per week to get the needed Soul Ash. The base items cost about as much as 1-3 key sale groups in gold, which is another hour or two. That’s a lot of time spent for Blizzard to just nerf the item out from under you.

Games made to be balanced, you aren’t entitled to reimbursement. Also, Legion SUCKED. The lego system was horrible. RNG on your first 4, if you didn’t get your BIS your toon was all but a waste of time.

Its not so much cheating, its more so purposefully choosing to invest in something that is clearly broken and has to get reworked at some point to be on par with everything else. Going fotm is a risk

To go even further, there’s probably something you agreed to in the tos that removes all liability from blizzard for that sort of stuff. As for a system to reimburse legendary costs, would be nice, but the person working on that system probably quit. I mean, they couldn’t even figure out how to retroactively make m+ gear upgradeable.

Short answer: Nothing.
Long answer: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooothiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing.

If you haven’t figured out they buff/nerf stuff constantly, now you know.

OP, honestly, take a moment and think about what lesson you could be learning. You can’t control other people, you can only control your own self. Treat every single thing that happens to you as your responsibility and no one else’s. Stop complaining about every little ache and pain the way my grandma does. She’s sweet but it’s too late for her to learn. Is it too late for you?

I feel your pain, but it is what it is. No sour grapes over here.

History of WoW and gear means there’s high probability it will get changed.

Edit/PS - just read through thread. It’s already been said.

You still have at least two months until 9.1, more than enough time to build arcanic pulsar.

Cheese also stinks when you cut it.
