80k? You poor thing. Let’s get you some tea and a biscuit.
235 tokens on my server are still just shy of 200k so, please, spare me. Run callings and go for those 10k rep bags and do some AH of your own, you’ll recoup 80k probably before the patch drops proper.
Why do you feel entitled to a reimbursment of 80k gold? You still have the leggo that you paid for. I think you are more upset that blizz is finally tuning it to be more in line with other classe, specs and abilities.
Legion had the worst leggo system that has even been in the game because it was pure rng. Legit to the point that a fresh boosted toon that won the rng lottery, would be more viable than someone that had full bis gear and the wrong leggo.
I think it was pretty reasonable to expect that legendaries would continue being released and they’d probably be better than what we currently have. They need to keep us running torghast. I’m sure this is by design.
This I agree to - my main is a druid, my OS is Boom and I have the trink. If anyone really was so obtuse to not realize that Convoke and the BiS Leggo needed tweaking, then they’re naïve. However, to call players cheaters for utilizing exactly what Blizzard offered is a misnomer.
My criticism is more so on the system. If they are going to balance areas of the game I would rather have not effect time spent grinding. That feels crappy and very poorly designed. Especially gold which has an equivalent real world value - albeit low. I have played wow on and off since Vanilla and don’t recall making any complaint posts on the forum. Just my 2 cents. My point is the system in Legion was better, and this system feels very unrewarding. “Oh you grinded out 2-3 weeks of gold for an item, it is no longer as valuable.” When specs are nerfed at least you can switch and still play the game, with this if I want to stay relevant I will have to grind out more gold. And for all the people who are like too bad, so sad QQ, I hope your legendaries you paid for get nerfed so you can hop on the forums and we can commiserate.
You know, I kinda feel bad for people who don’t know any better about the legendary system. Yes, tough luck on your leggo getting nerfed after all the time and gold spent on it but I wonder if that ultimately a good system.
You research ahead of time. You prepare ahead of time. The true question is, are you playing the game like it is your relaxing hobby or are you playing it like it’s homework like a stock market where you win some and you lose some.
It’s kinda a problem that I see with some modern game in terms of balance nowadays.
I feel you. My brother and arena partner is wanting to quit because of a legendary nerf he spent alot of gold on. He hasn’t logged in to play in a couple of days. His said it depressed him. There is a reason another dev has left the team. How many times have we told Blizz that borrowed power screws everything up.
Let’s be real tho, even if it wasn’t the boomkin one and it was nerfed, crap still sucks that your out of all that currency.
Honestly, blizz either doesn’t care that legendaries are nerfed, causing ppl to loose out; 2; blizz designed it that way so you would spend more time in game for #timeplayed metrics. My guess? Definitely both.
By your logic blizzard should reimburseme everyone in every expansion on everything? The gold you spent on gear in AH the enchants you paid to put your gear, the gold you spend on pots and flask, mats to make gear, etc etc
Hey, I’ll have you know I attempted twice to level a balance druid. This time, I’ve made a troll instead a tauren, and I think I’ll be able to get her to max level. Balance sure looked weird years ago though, it seems to make more sense now.
