Ardenweald will be fine. The mushroom death god guy says he was there before the Winterqueen showed up and changed everything. Most likely the Heart isn’t even Death magic anyways. I expect we will get a Life Lands/Gods patch this expansion that will explain the Winterqueen and her sister the Summer Queen(might be Elune).
As far as the heart being destroyed if you played the storyline you wold have know it was going to happen. Its the literal lock keeping the Jailer in the Maw.
I don’t recall that part with the heart being literal lock for the Jailer’s banishment.
I tell you what when we have “resolution / justice” for half the bs that is pulled in this game then you can have the story you want otherwise NO.
I certainly hope so. I did that dang quest THREE times for Ysera before i looked it up and realized it doesn’t actually give you anything. As far as i’m concerned they can all burn in the maw.

Blizzard is pretty allergic to consistent, logical story writing. Remember Warlords of Draenor? That expansion’s story was a fever dream even before Highmaul hit.
Where is her damn husband while she is going crazy did he go back sleep? She has also not changed as a character at all since Warcraft 3. She needs to be put down or actually develop as a character.
Most likely she will be saved though since we have been collecting other Night Warriors and her power will be dispersed through them. She will have learned nothing and just be mad we took her power away.
Say it ain’t so. I love ardenweald, it’s for me at least the coolest covenant, and it has nothing to do with meta. The theme just works for me. Why is blizzard obsessed with making thematic beautiful natural environments only to have the wicked witch of the west come and crap on them. Words cannot express how lame this feels.
If this does happen, Sylvanas has been written as the most hated character in wow. Any thought of a redemption of her will be long gone.

That goodwill didn’t even last to the end of Legion. She gets mad at us at the start of the Insurrection questline because, after taking the Tears of Elune, we went to help the Nightfallen.
And then I guess she kept that stick up her butt and gave Oculeth to the Horde, who is really the champion we need to see more of, I think. I guess some other elves followed him, but I guess that’ll happen when your glorious barren head is a literal beacon for your people.
Honestly, I am starting to just wish they would kill Tyrande off instead of this constant horrible depiction they create of her. She has thousands of years of experience in combat as a warrior and priest. She is currently serving as the avatar for Elune’s vengeance and yet she is still nothing but a running joke for the writers to abuse to make Sylvanas appear more of a threat.
Good I don’t want Tyrande to just defeat Sylvanas and that’s how she dies. I don’t want anything to happen to Ardenweald and the innocent Night elf souls there but I couldn’t care less about Tyrande lol. I think they just have no clue wtf to do with her at this point.
