It’s hardly rewarding when it’s like a 5% chance to get something useful.
I already offer my key to low IO people all the time. You can suspect what you want, troll.
If you’re gearing up it’s very likely your vault rewards will be upgrades, especially if you unlock 2 from +10
Then what’s the problem? Presumably you’re helping people do 14-16 keys that have io’s under 500. Keep fighting the good fight. People like you need to run their own keys more often. IO isn’t a concern then.

I just want a good feeling of character progression. I don’t care what item levels anything provides. Keep your arbitrarily higher number. I just want good gameplay.
Throwing me “free 197” gear and telling me to hop into group content isn’t good gameplay. It’s actually the absence of it.
I’m actually complaining about being given free stuff. I don’t want free stuff. I want meaningful stuff to work on outside of group content.
Unlocking a mushroom network after grinding the same 12 world quests over and over again for the resource isn’t meaningful or enjoyable. It’s akin to when I held a retail job as a kid, and the boss told you to sweep the floor when it wasn’t busy. It’s busywork. It’s not compelling gameplay. Nothing about that feels like a good gaming session.

I don’t care much about gear (though my guild is pretty chill and starting to get into raiding). I just want something to do that’s chill. Ember Court takes maybe half an hour a week to do, and after that my solo content is just WQ and grinding past raids.
They need more to do that isn’t just gear and instance focus. That’s all I want.

Just one question I’d like to see clarified. If there is already a skill gap in the game, why should the highest skilled players be given better gear to already compound the differences? Why does that make any sense from a design perspective? Shouldn’t everyone be allowed to get decent gear? Isn’t that part of what would be required to even make them remotely competitive? It should be a fairly level playing field.

It was just over a month, that’s a pretty short period of time.
1 day for first research
4 hours for second
7 days for third
10 days for fourth
12 days for fifth
14 days for the extra legendary
44 days 4 hours, so a month and a week.
Classic is kinda in the dumps too. There is hype around TBC coming out so there should be a nice influx of people again for a couple months. However, the fact they let boosting and botting run wild in the game it’s highly unlikely Classic would be able to sustain itself longterm, much less retail.

heres what needs to happen raiding gear needs to be weaker out of raiding pvp gear weak out of pvp dungeon gear weak outside of dungeon and gear from covenants and world quests and quests only good in that envirement with them all having a base max itemlevel and stats when out of their content . do this and this will make everyone happy.

By looking at your current logs I doubt that.
If applying to a guild is so stressful then you aren’t going to do well on progression fights.
Also your best bet is to transfer to a high pop server and just look for guilds there.
Right now is literally the easiest time to find a higher progressed guild because people are getting burned out and needing people.
Because this is an mmo and progression is rewarded.

Except it isn’t rewarded for people who want to keep progressing and don’t have time to mythic raid, friends to do PVP/M+ with, etc. What about their progression? Oops. Guess they just have to quit. Again, exclusivity BAD. That was NOT the original spirit of WoW, and it has ruined the game.

its best let everyone have their own gear that way they dont whine about others. it also makes it so you can get more powerful and better gear doing what you like and not having to do other content you dont like.

No one has the resources for that, so no. If you’re just going off the numbers listed on Wowhead for how much it cost, that doesn’t work.
Then find another game.
Expecting a game to bow down because you lack the drive to put the effort in is never going to happen.

I never had to wait for research, what are you on about? I had my secondary legendary unlocked before I even had a second legendary.
