9.1 further disenfranchises non-competitive playerbase

Ah yes, the “get on my level or get out” toxic attitude that your average WoW player takes, which is why this community is so toxic.

You completely missed the point.

There needs to be more content at more levels that provide rewards that matter.

Other games can do this, why can’t WoW?

You got Normals and Heroics which reward… pretty much nothing.
Then your next step up is… what, M+? lol. That’s a pretty big leap.

Not seeing why we can’t make Heroics actually reward something worthwhile (30 anima just isn’t worthwhile, not when a World Quest can give 4 times that much).

Now if you could get, say 500 anima from the first Heroic of a day, now That I would actually be Qing for Heroics for.

Lots of alcohol?

Or some good sleep? :joy:

You are spot on. Don’t let the trolls get to you. You’re absolutely right.

This is an opinion and not logic. There’s a huge difference between the two.
Also, you can get 197 gear from quests basically invalidating normal raid gear. So I’m not sure if your saying that players who don’t care enough about the game to play more than two times a week should get the same rewards as someone who plays it all the time.
Also, I think you’re doing the forums thing where people poop post about how bad the game is and how it’s going to fail. Your peeps been saying this for years. They said it in Wrath, they said it in Legion, they say it every xpac and now your they. Even more of a disappointment

man as the resident resident toxic competitive elitist i really hope you don’t think we asked for torghast m+ but i sure as hell don’t.

This and also I just love the argument that brings in the NBA. Like any of these 5’8" neckbeards could ever do anything in the NBA. They can shoot 10 hours a day and be great but that shot will be sent into the stands. Why use the sport where you literally have to have be a giant? Golf would be more appropriate. Then again I probably wasted my time with an opinion no one cares about. :slight_smile:

It’s “you’re”.

I’m saying everyone should have a decent progression system to top end gear. There are other reasons to raid and pvp, and you can get the rewards faster doing them, but you should still be able to eventually progress to top gear doing simple content. The game and playerbase benefit from everyone having good gear.

This community isn’t even that toxic. The siege community is way worse.

Nope. I just find your point and excuses pointless and invalid.

Random BGs -> Rated BGs
-> Arena

Mythic 0 -> Mythic plus
-> Raiding

Auction house -> buying boes

There are plenty of avenues to better gear. The top gear requires groups and some basic effort.

This late in the patch the gear is going to be obsolete. Even then fresh 60s can use the gear so there is still progression.

You’re trying to swim in the kiddie pool and win the same awards as swimmers at a swim meet.

Ah the classic “any mild criticism of me is toxicity” argument. Truly a classic.

Normals and Heroics (and m0) reward “nothing” because WQ gearing has completely eclipsed anything below Heroic raiding and it’s rough equivalent in M+ and PvP.

I agree. My argument isn’t “casuals don’t deserve gear”, it’s “people who put effort in deserve gear”.

Putting effort in is something that can be done as a casual. I don’t share the opinion that many on these forums seem to have that casuals are invalids who must be spoonfed eveyrthing else they’ll somehow quit and financially ruin the game.

You clearly didn’t understand the point.

I’m not sure I’m totally on board with people getting ‘top gear’ without doing raiding, pvp or mythic+. WoW has already made a big shift away from being only raid gearing up system.

Yes sure I believe you should have access to very strong gear. But WoW has never handed out the best gear for doing world quests.

That is literally not what I said.

Read it again, since you seem to have reading comprehension issues:

We have different tiers of content, but everything lower than M0 (IE, stuff you can Q for) gives pretty much zero reward.

That’s my main issue.

We need Q-able content that gives worthwhile rewards.

Doesn’t have to be gear.

Did you miss where I said that 500 anima once/day would be a nice start?

Solo players/casuals getting free normal raid gear from questing is apparently Blizzard holding them down.

This is like if in Wrath questing gave 9 slots of 251 ICC10 gear and the players complaining how much it sucks compared to the 264/277 gear from ICC.

I enjoy the additional challenge of a timer. It makes it more fun and adds a lot. I think a lot of other players do as well. The penalty is low enough that even if you don’t time you still get rewarded.

Right now there is literally a BIS trinket that is a world quest item. lol

But yea I know what you mean. I just don’t see the problem. A top tier player will always outdps a bad player anyway. There is no need to amplify the discrepancy. It hurts both pve and pvp play.

I somehow doubt that. If this isn’t your main, why don’t you post on it? People scrutinized me. Let’s see your progression. I think you’re trolling. I don’t think you even do mythic+.

Also, is there a reason why they can’t bump Heroic item level drops up in the same way that they bump world quest rewards?

I really don’t get why you can do a WQ and get 190ish and you do a Heroic and get what was it again, like 160? lol. that makes no sense.

The reknown ability that lets you get better WQ stuff should buff heroic drops too.

Its not that hard. I did it. It took effort and a lot of spamming but I did it. Then I passed the work over to the guildies and now I casual

So are you saying you don’t do m+ anymore?
