9 hours into Kul Tirans. Not a shred of fun

which classes are you talking about?

I mistyped, but I believe you knew that.

Also conveniently no comment on the 1.06 quests per minute you’re supposedly doing to unlock Kul Tiran in 6 hours. Which, according to you, is a slow rate

Op is correct. It was objectively terrible design. Imagine thinking levelling a throwaway character of a race you don’t want so you can do all these chores to finally create the character you do want is good design.

Originally, it required every zone quest achieve, rep, several dungeons and a quest chain that sent you back and forth all over the islands in the most inefficient way possible.

don’t even get me started on the dark irons

I want someone to explain to me how opening loot chests for a month ingratiated me with the dark irons to the point that a faction that joined the alliance in cataclysm was now playable

Good design could have been shortening it to:

Just the quest chain - this is all the meat of how the alliance and kul tiras get along. Much better than the campaign quests for this purpose.

Showing the story from your new KT alts perspective - if you want to show how they work together combine this with the first point and it’s perfect.

What we got was tying some of the least used races behind as many existing grinds as possible to cover up the fact that they didn’t have the resources to make lvl 1-20 zones as they had for every other new race prior to legion.

“allied races” is a marketing scam.

You did all of Drustvar and didn’t have a second of fun? Drustvar is widely considered one of the best questing zones.

I already replied to that - I don’t believe there is over 400 quests involved that are required.

no I didn’t, I still don’t know what you meant to say.

I think it’s been more than one expansion since they came out, so they should automatically unlock for everyone.

They should do that with all of the Allied races stuff.

If I was a new player and saw what was required to unlock those things? Ugh.

But at this point, WHY would you want Kul’Tirans?

I unlocked them at the time, just because that’s what I do, but I only have one and would not want any more of them.

Even if they were Horde somehow (it would be disgusting for the Horde to have any human types), I’d only have one at most.

To each their own, and you should continue with unlocking them I guess.

Off-topic… I know they’ve changed what it can do, but can the barbershop nowadays “slim down” my Kul’Tiran? I wouldn’t mind if my Kul’Tiran lost some weight.

The only thing silly about unlocking these races is you can’t get flying automatically in BFA for some mystery reason.

I literally responded to you with links to the wowhead for the achievements where there are quest counts.

Here

It’s literally 388 quests, and I forgot the 20 quests for the embassy quest line. So it’s actually 408

well I didn’t see that but you originally said over 400 from questing.

that one link says ALL quests - you don’t need to do ALL.

Bellow is complete list of quests in the zone, all Drustvar storylines and side quests along with bonus objectives, for quest completests

There are only 80 required quests in Drustvar.

And I was correct. It’s 408 quests including the embassy quest line.

So I will ask again, I would love to see you complete 68 quests on average per hour for 6 hours. I would love to see you complete 1.13 quest per minute.

If you actually click the link instead of reading the description, you will see that it’s specified the storylines required for the achievement

yes and if you look farther down it says you only need 80 quests for the Drust Do It, I didn’t count the other ones but doubtful if all that many more.

Even if that was accurate, which it is not, my count would only be seven off.

Not sure why it’s so hard for you to admit that you were wrong when the facts are right in front of you.

Literally caught in a lie and you insist on doubling down again and again

If it’s that easy, why do even people who use those guides keep running into dead ends and coming to the forum for help?

And no. Not going to do all Alliance questing and campaign. I had enough of BfA. If I want to roll an allied race druid character, I roll highmountain.

Nobody complains about the Horde campaign. Lots of people have complained about the Alliance one.

Unless you have evidence that the confusing Alliance campaign is something that has attracted people who like confusing content to the game…

80 vs over 400 = only 7 off :woman_facepalming:

Bro. The entire unlock process is 408 I literally laid out how many quests were required in each zone. Drustvar requires 87 quests

Tell the hamsters they’re working overtime please

you don’t need to do every quest in the zone though - enough wasting 5 hours on nothing

There are more than 87 quests in Drustvar (approx 150)

You are required to do 87 quests to unlock the Drust Do It achievement.

I don’t think I can make it any more clear to you

It’s because too many people playing this game only have one reward in mind while doing content. They never consider any potential fun or incidental reward unlocks along the way.

Doing this content has exactly 0 potential fun.

Says who? You?
