Why is this even a thing anymore? turn off your unused ports, disable ping and telnet, etc… Maybe you guys should consider hiring a hacker/cracker with some experience in these things to help you prevent them.

For the Love of Jeebus. Please get the servers up. I almost had to have human contact with my family and I even looked outside once. it was scary. There was this giant ball of fire in the sky and looked like it was coming right for me. Then all I could see around me was miniture Hoomans on their cell phones talking about pumpkin spice everything. Save us Blizzard customer Support. You’re our only hope.

They will shutdown the servers in an attempt to stop the attack… sometimes they dont have to do this in these attacks but most of the time, they have to shut down the servers

Don’t assume based on the name of the twitter that they are where the name implies. Good chance they are right here. I’d bet it is a deliberate misdirection to go with that before the name.
