On the upside, at least BFA introduced a new Forsaken character that everyone liked finally right? Although he’s a little less likable if you view him as only existing as a tool of emotional manipulation to try to get people to hate their own team…

I don’t hate them, I nothing them. Can’t keep falling for this trap, Grom, Zuljin, Kael, Illidan, Garrosh, and now sylvanas? Does not pay to enjoy a darker hero for any length of time.

Me as well. I am not gonna accept this hackneyed plot, and attempting to get people on-board with emotional manipulation makes it even worse, to me.

Looks like Jaina is the one that gives us the quest to unlock Kul Tirans.
The only redeeming outcome would be if the Proudmoores actually execute Derek anyway because they see him as an abomination.

i just hope that zelling doesn’t die, he already showed more personality than baine.
and that some parts of the horde can be redeemed.
as for this derek thing, it isn’t over yet, for all we know reuniting him with his family was part of the plan of sylvanas.
sadly i think that the only way to make this plan worth it is if derek kills jaina.
and even if he do,the damage is already done because blizzard has made zelling pretty much a traitor? that must really suck.

mostly because is nice to have her NPC stay in one place that isn’t a raid or scenario.

I think he just told her about Calia. Anyway, the family includes her mother and brother as well.

But what’s more likely is they’re going to accept him and show how Alliance is very accepting of Undeads proving Sylvanas wrong. I also think Anduin had a dialogue he’s going to contact Calia in 8.2 somewhere too

Jaina’s in charge though, I doubt they’d go against her saying to give him a chance.
If there was any justice in this world (of warcraft) sylvanas would see that and accept peace as an option. I mean varian was all ra ra wipe out the horde not too long before he died.

the forsaken existence after the alliance are canonically, in-game shown to be nicer to them than the horde are is going to be great.

If Sylvanas gets redeemed in future patch, read the following: Can’t wait until the Horde decides to fight against Sylvanas and the writers go “ah ha she was good the whole time” to make us feel like idiots and then pretend all the war crimes we commit were perfectly fine.
If Sylvanas gets raid bossed: Can’t wait until we replay through Mists of Pandaria and the writers go “ah ha aren’t we great” and then scapegoat Sylvanas with all the crimes commit by complicit Horde soldiers who reveled in the carnage.
